Kenneth R. Branton, MD, is the Medical Director of Pain Management Centers of New England at the Beth Israel Lahey Health Care Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. The practice has additional locations in Gloucester and Newburyport.

Dr. Branton is Double Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He attended Bowdoin College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics. After working at the Division of Tumor Immunology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Dr. Branton earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, and has over two decades of experience in pain management.

He completed his internship at the University of Chicago Hospital and his Anesthesiology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and his Pain Management fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.  During his fellowship, Dr. Branton developed expertise in treating cancer-related pain at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Branton was one of the first physicians in the Chicago area to utilize percutaneous disc decompression utilizing Nucleoplasty radiofrequency technology to treat symptomatic patients with contained herniated disks. Dr. Branton was featured performing this technique on Chicago's NBC affiliate news broadcast.  

Dr. Branton was the first New England physician to perform radiofrequency of the nerves that carry pain signals from the sacroiliac joint utilizing the Simplicity III radiofrequency probe. Other professional accomplishments include past president of Beverly Anesthesia Associates, Inc which provides anesthesia services for Beverly Hospital.  Dr. Branton has practiced comprehensive pain management in the North
Shore of Massachusetts for over 20 years and is the most experienced in performing the Intercept procedure on the North Shore and Merrimack Valley.

During his time in Chicago, Dr. Branton held the position of Director of Pain Management at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Ho conducted his Fellowship in Pain Medicine in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, Massachusetts, and at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ho was an Associate in Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at BIDMC. He was also on staff in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Harrington Memorial Hospital (HMH) in Southbridge, Massachusetts.

Kenneth R. Branton, MD, is the Medical Director of Pain Management Centers of New England at the Beth Israel Lahey Health Care Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. The practice has additional locations in Gloucester and Newburyport.

Dr. Branton is Double Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He attended Bowdoin College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics. After working at the Division of Tumor Immunology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Dr. Branton earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, and has over two decades of experience in pain management.

He completed his internship at the University of Chicago Hospital and his Anesthesiology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and his Pain Management fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.  During his fellowship, Dr. Branton developed expertise in treating cancer-related pain at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Branton was one of the first physicians in the Chicago area to utilize percutaneous disc decompression utilizing Nucleoplasty radiofrequency technology to treat symptomatic patients with contained herniated disks. Dr. Branton was featured performing this technique on Chicago's NBC affiliate news broadcast.
