Dr. Joshua Daly, DPM, MBA
Foot & Ankle Surgeon 21.0 mi
Podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. E. Charisse Dunn began her medical practice in Florida in 1992, working in West Palm Beach before opening her private practice, PGA Foot & Ankle P.A., in Palm Beach Gardens in 1997.
The goal of her practice is to offer patient-oriented care with open and easy-to-understand dialogue that encourages patients to become active partners in their treatment.
Dr. Charisse Dunn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went on to the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. After completing a two-year surgical residency in Michigan, Dr. Dunn practiced in New York for one year before her arrival in Florida.
Dr. Charisse Dunn is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and holds hospital privileges at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach and Columbia North County Surgicenter in Palm Beach Gardens.
Dr. Charisse Dunn resides in West Palm Beach with her husband and son. In her free time, Dr. Dunn enjoys walking, swimming, rollerblading, gardening, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Richard Seda has been practicing podiatry in South Beach for two decades today. Dr. Seda’s practice primarily includes foot and ankle surgery, as well as sports medicine, however he treats all diseases and pathologies of the foot and ankle, specializing in bunion and hammertoe correction.
Dr. Seda graduated from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico in 1989. He went on to study at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. After podiatry school, Dr. Seda moved to Miami where he performed a two-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, graduating in 1995. Since then, he has been practicing and serving the Miami Beach community.
A Miami native, Dr. Gary Keller has always been interested in sports. While in college at Florida International University, Keller was injured playing intramural softball and met a podiatrist who treated him several times. He remembered the visit for a long time, and after working as a biomedical scientist, Keller decided to pursue his goal to become a podiatrist.
Yet, Keller still maintains a passion for sports medicine and for treating trauma injuries to the lower extremities, he says. He likes this type of podiatry because each case is a new challenge.
“To get the (athletes) back into professional shape – that’s not easy sometimes,” he says.
Sports injuries most commonly include Achilles tendonitis and ankle sprains and fractures, but Keller also treats all sorts of trauma injuries. In addition, he treats typical foot and ankle injuries that result from age, as well as performing laser treatments on varicose veins, spider veins and fungal nails.
As a child, Dr. Michelle Detweiler had a series of foot problems and was assisted by the help of a podiatrist in Philadelphia. These visits to the podiatrist sparked her interest in the field and led her to eventually apply to podiatry school. She has now been practicing as a podiatrist in the Miami Beach area for 20 years.
“Podiatry appeals to me because you are often able to make patients feel better on their first visit,” Dr. Detweiler says.
Dr. Detweiler graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia and then headed south to Miami to attend Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. Once she graduated, Dr. Detweiler did a podiatric surgical residency in Allentown, Pennsylvania and then returned to Miami to start practicing. She now works with Dr. Jerald Carmel in the Mount Sinai Medical Building.
Dr. Adam Ringler grew up in Sullivan, Ohio, but came down to Miami 11 years ago to complete his residency. Once here, Dr. Ringler enjoyed working at Palmetto General Hospital and learning Spanish so much that he decided to stay in South Florida.
Ringler now practices with Dr. Gary Keller close to Hialeah Hospital, often treating patients who have hurt their feet or ankles while on the job, or those who have a foot or ankle accident at any time.
“My practice is focused on getting people well and back to work, so that we can minimize the time they are out of commission,” Dr. Ringler says.
Dr. Ringler attended Ashland University in Ohio for his undergraduate studies. He then went to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, which is now part of Kent State University’s graduate programs. Dr. Ringler did his podiatry residency at Palmetto General Hospital, where he met his current partner, Dr. Keller.
