He was granted the Illinois Podiatric Medical Student Scholarship during his attendance at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated in 2001 obtaining the Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He continued his post graduate training in podiatric orthopedics and surgery.
