Ami Herbstrith, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Mid-South Foot & Ankle Specialists in Memphis, Tennessee. She sees patients at the Cordova office and specializes in sports medicine, pediatric foot, limb salvage, wound care, diabetic foot care, and general podiatry.
Dr. Herbstrith grew up in Sherman, Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois, and earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Herbstrith completed a residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She maintains her credentials with continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in foot and ankle diagnostics and treatments.
She is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Herbstrith loves being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and running.
