Following graduation, she completed her foot and ankle surgical residency training at Christus Oschner St. Patrick’s Hospital and Center for Orthopedics in Lake Charles, LA emphasizing sports medicine, trauma, surgical reconstruction, and limb salvage. As a resident, Dr. Herring served as one of the team resident physicians at McNeese State University. Dr. Herring is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in both foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot surgery.
