Albert Nejat, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist and the leader of the team at the Podiatry Institute of Southern California in Culver City, California. Dr. Nejat has always been drawn to podiatry because it gives him the opportunity to often make people feel dramatically better in just a single visit. He specializes in trauma and reconstruction of foot and ankle, total ankle replacement, total ankle stabilization, bunionectomy, sports medicine and injuries, arthroscopic surgery of the foot and ankle, and diabetic foot care and limb salvage. Dr. Hagopjanian is the first podiatric surgeon who started the total ankle replacement program in Los Angeles and still trains many surgeons around the country to perform this difficult but rewarding procedure.
