He then attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City and has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Lim is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. In addition to primary podiatric care, his specialties include the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds and diabetic footwear. He’s also a qualified medical evaluator in the state of California, providing examinations in workers’ compensation cases.

Artin Shakhbandaryan, DPM, is a podiatrist, wound care specialist, and foot and ankle surgeon at Step By Step Foot and Ankle Center, providing high-quality podiatry care to people 12 and older in West Covina, California.
Dr. Shakhbandaryan studied at the University of California, Riverside, earning his bachelor’s degree in economics. A few years later, he decided to pursue a medical career and enrolled in the Los Angeles Community College District, obtaining his science prerequisite credits.
