RICHARD J. POWERS, DPM was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Loyola University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1986, he completed his education in Podiatric Medicine, from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric medicine, and started his post-professional training in a 12-month surgical preceptorship, under the direction of Ronald Cervetti, DPM, in Waterloo, Iowa. Dr. Powers then went on to complete a 12-month surgical residency at Lakeside Community Hospital, under the direction of podiatric author and educator, Dr. Irving Pikscher, DPM, in Chicago.
Dr. Powers has served as a Podiatric Surgical Instructor at Mercy Hospital, Loyola Ambulatory, Oak Brook Surgical Center from 1992 through 2003. He also served as the Residency director of Sacred Heart Hospital from 1998 to 2003.

She earned her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her post-graduate studies at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago, during which she served as chief resident her final year. Her education focused on both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, as well as all aspects of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Mirkovic provides foot and ankle treatment to patients of all ages, including conservative and surgical options.
