Board-certified rheumatologist Qaiser Rehman, MD, welcomes patients to the Rheumatology Clinic of Houston, his private practice in Tomball, Texas. He treats all types of rheumatic diseases, with a specialization in arthritis, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease, inflammatory vasculitis, muscle diseases, and metabolic bone conditions like osteoporosis.

Dr. Rehman received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating with honors. During his medical school training, he rotated through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, which inspired him to return to Texas for advanced training. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).

After earning board certification in internal medicine, Dr. Rehman completed two years of rheumatology training at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He stayed an extra year at UCSF, where he was a clinical investigator and researcher. During this time, he conducted clinical trials for new therapies to treat postmenopausal and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.

Dr. Rehman’s research involving osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and inflammatory arthritis has been published in professional journals. He also wrote content for the Textbook of Rheumatoid Arthritis and presents his work at international meetings.

In addition to fluent English, he speaks Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. His goal is to serve the community with exceptional rheumatologic care that promotes wellness and improves their lives.

Dr. Rehman is a proud American citizen living happily in Texas with his wife and two daughters. When he’s not helping patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, taking vacations, and reading.

A member of the American College of Rheumatology and American College of Physicians, she specializes in connective tissue diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis, vasculitis, and scleroderma. Actively involved in clinical research, Dr. Rivera was trained at the New York University Medical School where she participated in research studies focusing on the treatment of lupus nephritis, and lupus and pregnancy. She has an interest in osteoporosis, Lyme disease and fibromyalgia. She volunteers at UCSD free clinic providing accessible, quality healthcare for the underserved in an environment where students, health professionals and patients learn from one another. She works as a Per Diem at an community clinic, Family Health Centers of San Diego, for the underserved. She participates in Project Access helping uninsured patients get access to specialists. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children.

As a speaker and expert representative for the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation, Dr. Rizvi was at the forefront of developing a world renowned multispecialty Sjogren’s clinic at the Baylor Clinic. Farah Salahuddin, MD, (pronounced Salah' din) is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She is the founder at Rheum Without Walls, serving people living in and around Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Salinas, Carmel by the Sea, and Monterey, California.

Rheum Without Walls was born from her unique vision and desire to continuously move in the direction of patient-centric care, transparency in health care, and bridging health in-equities. Dr. Salahuddin completed her fellowship in rheumatology in 2015 at David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Natalie MacLean, MD, MSc, FRCPC, is an experienced rheumatologist at Kaplan MacLean Rheumatology in Encinitas, California. She provides specialized care to patients with arthritis, osteoporosis and all other rheumatologic conditions. 

Dr. MacLean received her medical degree from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Rheumatology from the University of Alberta. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. 

Dr. MacLean holds her undergraduate Honours Degree in Biochemistry from Mount Allison University and her Masters of Medical Sciences - Oncology from the University of Alberta. She is a professional microscopist and worked in biomedical research at the University of Victoria and the University of California San Diego prior to her medical training.

Before forming Kaplan MacLean Rheumatology, she was Clinical Lecturer and Rheumatologist in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Alberta, where she enjoyed teaching students and residents. Her friendly nature, enthusiasm and genuine passion for her patients provided her with the reputation for being able to connect easily with them, providing comfort during often stressful times or sharing a laugh.
