I saw Dr. Farheen for my second appointment this morning via Telehealth. There are no words to express my gratitude for her.She has THE BEST bedside manner & is so very pleasant.I had suffered several months with chest discomfort/Show morepain & the routine issues of RA. She placed me on two medications back in March on my initial visit,& my symptoms have improved tremendously! I left my former Rheumatologist of 8 years to be under the care of Dr. Farheen. Let’s just say that it was the best decision that I have ever made. I love this woman & am so glad to have her as my Rheumatologist. The nurses are amazing & her receptionist Monica is the best! Thank you Dr. Farheen for being so compassionate, addressing my concerns, but most of all… thank you so very much for helping me to feel better & be able to get back to doing the things that I love. You are THE BEST!!’❤️
Dr. Farheen and I have been through a lot in the 2 years that I've been with her. I do not consider myself to be an easy patient to deal with because I don't typically trust doctors or medicine. Nonetheless, she has been super patShow moreient. She never pushes me to do anything I'm uncomfortable with, but she's also very firm on what her recommendations are for a treatment plan. I may not always agree with things, but I honestly do believe she cares tremendously and really has my best interest at heart! I'm just thankful she hasn't refused to see me anymore...lol. Most importantly my autoimmune conditions have improved and continue to do so. If you want some one who is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and honest...I believe Dr. Farheen is a great doctor to work with toward your health goals. Thank you for EVERYTHING Dr. Farheen!

Kiran Farheen, MD, at Houston Rheumatology and Arthritis Specialists in Katy, Texas, is a board certified Internist and Rheumatologist. She has been practicing for more than a decade. Dr. Farheen is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She trained under leading experts and conducted cutting edge research on Ankylosing Spondylitis. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunogenetics for five years before starting her own practice.
Dr. Farheen thinks of learning as a continuous process believing that each patient experience is unique. Her philosophy is that the physician's role is to provide guidance and assist the patient to achieve the best results possible. As a mother, daughter, wife and sister herself, her goal is to practice medicine effectively by drawing from her personal experiences and extend them to connect with each patient empathetically as a person not just a condition.

Dr. Farheen is fantastic. She listens to her patients, works hard to find the cause of their issues and is very compassionate in her approach to healing. Very few doctors are as good as Dr. Farheen.
Love her! She takes her time and really answers your questions. This is my third RA. This is the first RA that seems to truly care. She works with you to find the best treatment options. Her staff is wonderful!!

Dr farheen and nurse practioner saw me. Both were really nice along with nurses all welcoming. I was sent to get x-rays to get to root of my problem, waiting for results so she can determine where my arthritis is at. Overall very nice atmosphere and employees.
