Gerald Rosenberg, MD, is an experienced internal medicine specialist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He’s board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.

Dr. Rosenberg is a St. Louis native. Alison Polston, FNP, DNP is an experienced, board-certified family nurse practitioner at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas.

Alison graduated with honors from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she earned a doctorate degree in nursing. She is passionate about rheumatology because it gives her an opportunity to use a holistic approach when caring for her patients.

Meet Dr. Rajbhandary

Board-certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine, Rosy Rajbhandary, MD, sees patients at The Rheumatology Clinic of DFW, PLLC in Burleson, Texas. As a rheumatologist, Dr. Rajbhandary diagnoses and treats adults as well as children with rheumatic disease in transition to a pediatric rheumatologist.

Dr. Rajbhandary received her medical degree with a five-year scholarship to Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where she earned the Barbara Sloan Patient Comfort Award for most compassionate care and was the best teaching resident. Afterward, Dr. Rajbhandary completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, ranked one of the top rheumatology programs in the nation. Board-certified rheumatologist Qaiser Rehman, MD, welcomes patients to the Rheumatology Clinic of Houston, his private practice in Tomball, Texas. He treats all types of rheumatic diseases, with a specialization in arthritis, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease, inflammatory vasculitis, muscle diseases, and metabolic bone conditions like osteoporosis.

Dr. Rehman received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating with honors. During his medical school training, he rotated through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, which inspired him to return to Texas for advanced training. About Tara Rizvi, MD

Tara Rizvi, MD, at Texas Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates in Katy, Texas, is a board specialized rheumatologist with a passion for patient-centered, evidence based care, who treats men and women with rheumatologic diseases in the greater Houston area.

After specializing in rheumatology in 2008, Dr. Rizvi joined the Baylor College of Medicine, where she has served as rheumatology chief of service at Harris Health Ben Taub County Hospital, and Women’s Pavilion, Texas Children's Hospital as well as the program director for the rheumatology training program. In 2018, Dr. Rizvi was recognized for her achievements with the “STAR Award for Excellence in Patient Care” and “Women of Excellence Award” by Baylor College of Medicine.

As attending physician and chief of rheumatology at Ben Taub General Hospital for many years, Dr. Rizvi has extensive expertise in providing evidence-based care and cutting edge treatment for patients with a wide range of complicated rheumatologic diseases. Dr. Hasan completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the prestigious State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During her fellowship, she was selected to serve as Chief Rheumatology Fellow in her final year—an acknowledgment of her leadership, clinical acumen, and dedication to the field. Notably, she made history at SUNY Downstate as the first woman to be awarded the distinguished Dr. Douglas Mund Award, an honor given to a fellow demonstrating outstanding aptitude, professionalism, and excellence in rheumatologic care.

Following her fellowship, Dr. Hasan joined the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) – Fresno as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine in the Department of Rheumatology. There, she played an active role in both patient care and the academic development of medical residents and fellows, while continuing her commitment to advancing the field through research. Her scholarly work has been featured in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals, reflecting her passion for evidence-based practice and clinical innovation.
