Farah Salahuddin, MD, (pronounced Salah' din) is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She is the founder at Rheum Without Walls, serving people living in and around Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Salinas, Carmel by the Sea, and Monterey, California.
Rheum Without Walls was born from her unique vision and desire to continuously move in the direction of patient-centric care, transparency in health care, and bridging health in-equities. Dr. Salahuddin completed her fellowship in rheumatology in 2015 at David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to that, she was a teaching faculty at MedStar Health/University of Maryland In Baltimore.

Delaware Arthritis is excited to welcome Anusha Vuppala, MD, to the team. Dr. Vuppala is a Rheumatologist passionate about forging strong partnerships with the patients in her care and providing comprehensive treatment for autoimmune conditions. She practices from both the Lewes DE location and the Millville DE location.
Originally from India, Dr. Vuppala completed her Internal Medicine - Pediatric Residency, followed by a Rheumatology Fellowship at LSU Shreveport. Her decision to move to Delaware was driven by the desire to be closer to family.
Rheumatology is Dr. Vuppala's passion, and being a Rheumatologist has been an incredibly rewarding journey, primarily due to the profound physician-patient relationships unique to this specialty. Autoimmune conditions can be debilitating, significantly impacting the quality of life for patients. Alan P. Goldman, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist at Brighton Beach Medical Group in New York City. Monica Schwartzman, MD, MS, is a double board-certified rheumatologist and internal medicine specialist who brings her extensive experience to the practice of Sergio Schwartzman, MD. She provides rheumatology and internal medicine/primary care for patients.
Dr. Schwartzman attended Cornell University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in History. After graduating, she attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She was accepted through Mount Sinai’s Humanities and Medicine program, a program that seeks to train doctors with a humanistic focus and patient-centered approach to patient care. Upon graduation, she received an award for distinction in research.
She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She then completed a rheumatology fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, where she treated patients with a variety of rheumatology conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, inflammatory bowel disease-associated arthritis, gout, pseudogout, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, myositis, among others and served on the rheumatology consultation service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College.
During her rheumatology fellowship, she additionally completed a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she focused her research on spondyloarthritis, and in particular inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) associated spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and imaging modalities in these fields. She has presented on these topics at national meetings. Dr. Schwartzman has additionally authored numerous papers, abstracts, and book chapters on a variety of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.

She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/ UT PM & R Alliance in 2009, followed by a fellowship at Michigan State University and Lansing Orthopedics in 2010, encompassing Interventional Spine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Pain Management. Navneet Kaur, MD, is a rheumatologist at Touro University Medical Group, a medical group with three locations in Stockton, California. The practice is affiliated with Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Kaur earned her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Government Medical College Amritsar (MAHE) in Amritsar, India. Dr. Kristie Pepper joins the providers at the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center bringing her kind and compassionate bedside manner after relocating to Pennsylvania from New England.
Dr. Pepper most recently practiced rheumatology as a clinical instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by an internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Post residency Dr. Pepper pursued additional training in rheumatology through a fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Pepper’s clinical interests include ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
Aside from rheumatology, Dr. Pepper’s interests include family, the outdoors and history.
