Dr. Rosenberg is always so attentive & wants to know what’s going on with my general health, too, not just those symptoms that apply to Rheumatology. We discussed a letter I had gotten from my Rx Insurance suggesting that I switchShow more from the very same strength & dosage of Tramadol I’ve been taking for over 30 years now to a recommended non-opioid, but 2 of the 3 medications they suggested for my severe osteoarthritis/fibromyalgia/degenerative spine disease turned out to be opioids, too, & much stronger & addictive than what I’m on already. Seems like these insurance companies don’t always know what they’re talking about! I told him I’m having a Trial Spinal Cord Implanted for a week on next Thursday with the actual SPI Surgery to happen soon thereafter . There’s a company called Nevro that will allow me to have 2 separate implants - 1 going up & 1 going down the spine (out of 24 vertebrae, my latest MRI revealed that I only have 4 undamaged vertebrae, but with mild osteoporosis, so you can see why I actually need 2 SPIs!), each with its own control that won’t interfere with the other control. They work off very high frequencies & each controller will be set to a different frequency receiver - sort of like different frequencies that emergency responders have. I’ll also be coming back in 2 months & unfortunately won’t be able to see him, but I bet Dr. Rosenberg’s P.A. is top notch, too, to get a script for PT to work on bilateral neck/shoulder/scapula pain & bursitis at the very top junction of my deltoid muscles & shoulders, bilaterally & then see Dr. R again in January of next year. But yesterday, he did give me steroid injections in those areas + L5-S1 to help with my lower back pain & severe bilateral sciatica, which is made worse bc I have a giant Neuroma/Tarlov Cysts that has never been drained & so is pressing on the nerves of my lower back. We also went through my Pharmacy App to determine which prescriptions need refills & those will be called in by his nurse. Then not only did I leave a required urine sample, but he also ordered a Lipid Panel, & either a CMP or a CBC (I don’t know which). He did that because I told him that I had fired my Cardiologist & was waiting to be seen by UT Health Cardiology, but I just realized they were going to get back to me after reviewing my records & it’s been more than 2 months since then & initial appointments are usually at least 3-4 months out to be scheduled. I’ll be needing a Pre-Surgical Screening before the SCI Surgeries, especially because I have Mitral Valve Prolapse & Long QT Syndrome & would also appreciate a Chemical Stress Text be performed, too. I think that covers all the bases. I always try to get his last appointment & appreciate his staying later than usual to accommodate me. I told him I was going to go on ALL the doctor evaluation websites & brag at how he’s the best doctor of all my other doctors (& I have a lot of Specialists besides a Family Practice Doctor, so that’s high praise as they’re ALL excellent, but don’t quite measure up to the care Dr. Rosenberg provides). I also told him after seeing an award dated 2009/2019(?) for Most Compassionate Doctor that I was going to google how to nominate him again for the next upcoming award! I’m so glad he hasn’t retired completely; I’d be lost without his medical expertise!
The doctor and Dr Ramos were very nice. I felt like once I got to see them that my standard of care would exceed my experience in the office. I called several times to get an appointment and my messages weren’t returned. SeeiShow moreng how busy you all are I can overlook that. When I finally got to speak to the new patient coordinator I was asked if I could come in the next day for a 1 pm slot. I said yes and traveled to r 1.25 hours excited for this appointment so quickly. I came equipped with all the paperwork she said to print online. I arrived 45 minutes ahead as she said in case there was other paperwork. I was met with we don’t have you on the schedule and you can wait for her to come back for lunch. This got rectified but it was a long waste of time and there was no explanation. I finally saw the room about an hour and a half later. I waited for about 20 minutes and thought about leaving if I’m honest. I am glad I waited because I felt heard by Dr Ramos and then Dr Rosenberg who seemed to listen and care about my health. Their genuine interest changed my opinion of the office. I was surprised y’all had a lab on site. So happy and the staff there were so nice. I went to the pharmacy after I had lunch in San Antonio and drove home and to my surprise no meds that had been prescribed were called in. I called moments ago 10 am next day and was told there were no notes of medications prescribed. A message had to be sent to the nurse and doctor regarding this (I have a handwritten note from the doctor and the lady at the desk took a copy). I have no idea how this happened just like my appointment disappearing. I am hopeful that my experience is limited to me and that it will be different on subsequent appointments.

Dr Rosenberg is an excellent doctor. He is so experienced that I have been with him for about 25 years and have followed him to different locations. If you're in need of a rheumatologist who can assist you with all of your needs he is a doctor for the job. His staff is also very professional. Everything is documented and any forms needed to be filled out done so in a reasonable amount of time.

I’m a first time patient with Dr. Rosenberg and currently satisfied with my evaluation. Of course, awaiting the results of the blood tests/diagnosis and recommended procedure(s) of the autoimmune disease(s). At that time, I would like to submit another evaluation.
Excellent experience with Dr. Rosenburg and his staff. Very efficient and well organized. Highly recommended practice.
Very professional and courteous. Great listener
Dr. Rosenberg is the very best of doctors. He’s caring & has an excellent manner. He’s truly involved in your healthcare & asks questions about your other doctors’ treatment of you for other conditions as well, as he also looks at other conditions & medications you take BEFORE prescribing medications himself. He provides excellent care for my conditions & is open to discussion about treatment & medication, whereas other doctors get upset if you discuss these things with you, so I really appreciate his openness & honest opinions.
The utmost professionalism by provider and staff personnel!! Thank you all!!
