If possible I would give Dr. Roldan 10 ⭐️’s as well as the office. He is an exceptional Rheumatologist. He is thorough in his exam and answers all of your questions. I had a an extreme weight problem and he helped me realize the iShow moremportance of loosing weight and how it would benefit my arthritic pain. He was absolutely right. The office is also excellent. They can get really busy but manage each patient to the best of their abilities. This office is professional and cares about their clients. For these reasons I highly recommend this office and Dr. Roldan.

About Dr. Roldan
Jose Roldan, MD, MS, is an expert rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan earned his medical degree from the Institute of Health Sciences in Medellin, Colombia, and a Master of Science in clinical investigation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Arthritis Associates, Dr. Roldan was a clinical instructor and associate professor of rheumatology at UTHSC in San Antonio. While at UTHSC, he created and directed the lupus and vasculitis clinics. He was also a staff rheumatologist at San Antonio Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in Texas.
Dr. Roldan maintains his medical credentials to stay up to date with the latest advances in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, and American College of Rheumatology.

Dr Roldan is an excellent rheumatologist who genuinely cares about his patients. He works with the patients when he orders medication to make sure we understand the medication. He obviously has an excellent up-to date understanding of autoimmune diseases, and the medications used. The staff are very competent, and appointments are on time.
