I enjoy going to my doctor, they always call me on time and if I am early sometimes and someone doesn't show up they will call me earlier, but this time I guess they were super busy cause the doctor took about an hour to see me.. Show more I have blood drawn and it was quick. Front staff always very nice and friendly.
About Dr. Roldan
Jose Roldan, MD, MS, is an expert rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan earned his medical degree from the Institute of Health Sciences in Medellin, Colombia, and a Master of Science in clinical investigation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Arthritis Associates, Dr. Roldan was a clinical instructor and associate professor of rheumatology at UTHSC in San Antonio. While at UTHSC, he created and directed the lupus and vasculitis clinics. He was also a staff rheumatologist at San Antonio Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in Texas.
Dr. Roldan maintains his medical credentials to stay up to date with the latest advances in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, and American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan compassionately cares for patients ages 12 and older and welcomes them to Arthritis Associates.

Dr. Roldan is a fantastic physician. He is very thorough explaining everything during each visit.
I really like Dr. Roldan’s care however his nurse (oriental girl)and staff seem very uncaring, and bothered when asking her a question. The girls at the lab are very unfriendly, the checkout person says they can put me on the cancellation list but for me to call back my self because they are too busy. Wow!! This is a very unfriendly office most patients are there because of their illness not because they want to and most patients are in some type of pain, have some compassion for your patients. A smile would probably help people feel a little better.
Dr. Roldan is thorough in his diagnosing and treatment. He takes the time to listen to and address your concerns and answers your questions. I appreciate his approach in analyzing and subscribing treatments for my condition. I highly recommend him as a rheumatologist.
