Honestly, l don’t know where I would be today without Dr. Wickersham. He is a very honest, kind, understanding and patient doctor. He takes his time with each patient that he sees, making sure that he provides them with the bestShow more individual treatment possible. It’s very important to him that he helps you get better and helps you feel better. Dr. Wickersham really cares about his patience. If for some reason he feels like you need to be seen by another doctor, he will recommend a doctor for you to go to. All I know is he has always taken his time with me, given me his undivided attention every single time I have gone in to see him. He tries to do what he thinks is best for me and because of this I keep coming back. He has helped me for many many years. And I thank the Lord that I found him. I have been seeing Dr. Wickersham now for 12 years and I would not want to see anyone else. From day one he has listened to any of my concerns and he explains things very thoroughly where I can understand. My pain and my symptoms Show moreare well controlled and that is because of him and his team. In between his visits I also see Allison one of his nurse practitioners and I love her just as much as Dr. W. She is so caring and you don't feel like your being rushed. I have seen the newest addition , NP Valerie, one time only and she too was thorough and made sure my needs were met and discussed. The infusion team is excellent and I never have any issues with IVs or treatment. I could not ask for a better medical team. I wish they were my family practioners as well but I am blessed that they are my rheumatology specialists.

Dr. Wickersham grew up in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating magna cum laude from Rice University in Houston, Texas, he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he earned his medical degree with honors.

I've seen Dr Wickersham for many years. He is concerned with my health and is current on new medical information and procedures. He has a large practice but remains personable and caring. I trust his advice implicitly. The front and back staff are courteous and efficient. There is no excessive waiting for my appointment.
Dr. Wickersham is such a class act. He’s patient, kind , ask questions and makes it a point to build a rapport with his patients so that he can come up with the best plan of care . He is truly the absolute best in his specialty .
