I love Dr. Pendleton Wickersham! I am like a grandmother’ to him. My younger sister who had been seeing him for arthritis told me about him. Arthritis runs in our family. I started going to him 10+ years ago for my hurting handShow mores. He was very good and listened, listened, LISTENED, To everything I said. He then and always has spent at least 20 to 25 minutes with me & more if I needed it. . I have learned he does not only listen to our arthritis pains going on, but he is also very interested in us as a whole person and what is going on in our lives. I have never had a doctor listen and pay attention and try to help me with other phases of what was going on in my life—ever. I now have about 7 to 8 doctors for different health issues. I was very depressed at one time & asked for his help. He was so wonderful to help me and did help me out of that dungeon. He has been asked by some countries, like Dubai to come and speak to them about the knowledge he has. The world, appreciates and respects him, as well as my family and I do. I travel an hour and a half from another city to go to him and I know other people have traveled from five hours at least to come to him in San Antonio. I now have blood pressure problems, A-fib, vascular insufficiency, cellulitis, pain problems from a knee that needs a replacement and even going through the loss of our little 12 year-old Yorkie who died a month ago from liver cancer. He knows that my husband has Parkinson’s disease and is very aware of the stress of my plate being so full. I could go on about many other things he has done for my family and their spouses, way above and beyond what the Hippocratic oath requires! I know at my age. I am on the way out, but he never makes me feel like that. He constantly tries to help people. This is not only myself that I speak for, but I know others that feel the very same way. I thank you so much, which is not enough to say, Dr. Wickersham, for all that you do to HELP hundreds & thousands of others. I am honored, So honored, to be a patient of his I know that your reward in heaven will be exceptionally great, Dr. Wickersham and you will deserve every bit of it.
I have been seeing Dr. Wickersham for 17 years. When you walk in the front office personal are so welcoming and helpful. They never make you feel like they are to busy to talk to you or answer questions although they are always buShow moresy working. Dr. Wickersham is very knowledgeable. I always feel safe and confident that anything he recommends is the best thing out there. If I have questions or concerns he listens and never gets upset. If I do bring up an alternative treatment we have a discussion and he doesn't talk down to me or push his ideas on me. He cares about his patients. I don't enjoy going to the doctor, but if I have to go, Dr Wickersham is the doctor I want to go to.

Pendleton Wickersham, MD, is a highly trained specialist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Wickersham grew up in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating magna cum laude from Rice University in Houston, Texas, he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he earned his medical degree with honors.
Dr. Wickersham then moved to Denver to work on his postgraduate studies. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Wickersham moved to San Antonio to pursue his dream of running a thriving clinical practice, where he’s a partner at San Antonio-based Arthritis Associates. Exceptional! Explains every process in detail
The front staff was very Polite and helpful. I never have to wait long for their attention. Doctor Wickerham is awesome! He always answers All my questions and I always leave there feeling important. When I ask him, he always gives me excellent advice. When I leave his office, I always feel much better than how I walked in. That’s the way All patient should feel!
