Dr Wickersham is so caring. I’m 67 years old and I have so much going on (lupus, Sjorgens, lipedema, dercums, no IgAs,I have 2 bad knees that need replacements, obviously severe chronic pain and fatigue, along with many other diagShow morenosis's.) When I talk to dr Wickersham, I know he’s listening, he helps me with a plan, and direction as to what I can do next. What options are available. Even though I feel so overwhelmed, he assures me that I’m on the right path to feeling better. He can’t tell me I’ll be completely recovered but I’m on a path that will be better than I’ve been, and that I can be functional again. I’m so thankful for his assurance. Dr Wickersham is definitely one of the BEST!
Dr Pendleton is a very knowledgeable and respectful practitioner. He doesn't force anything on you, He listens and then offers advice that is agreeable to your health perspectives. He is a wealth of knowlege.and is always ready Show moreto share his years of learning with others. At my last visit, he had a student in the room during the appointment. He first asked for my permission..He has just come out with a book that would benefit all of his patients...He spent three years putting it together. It is well worth the purchase and can easily be understood in layman's terms.

Pendleton Wickersham, MD, is a highly trained specialist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Wickersham grew up in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating magna cum laude from Rice University in Houston, Texas, he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he earned his medical degree with honors.
Dr. Wickersham then moved to Denver to work on his postgraduate studies. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Wickersham moved to San Antonio to pursue his dream of running a thriving clinical practice, where he’s a partner at San Antonio-based Arthritis Associates. I love this practice every staff person from front desk to Dr Wickersham are the best. Wickersham himself is on top of every possible treatment for his patients. He listens to with attention and explains for understanding. His PA’s are a professional team. I very happy with Dr Wickersham but Jesus my PCP had to fax my lab results 3x they kept saying they hadn’t gotten it. I want to say they have a new lady up front. She greets you with a smile and very friendly. The one that was previously there along with one that’s still there were definitely not friendly or helpful. I feel like they would always give me a hard time.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wickersham for at least 15 years maybe more. He is THE BEST doctor i’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He’s kind, caring and most knowledgeable in his profession and very helpful in treating my conditions. I will never change him for any reason. The only reason I would no longer be a patient is if he retires or I am not around anymore. He’s the best!!!

Dr. Wickersham is always so kind and takes time to talk and listen to you. I never feel rushed. He’s also very punctual. Not like so many other doctors that make you wait 30 or more minutes past your appt time.
