Straight forward, direct, no nonsense presented professionally with friendliness and honesty. My first flair of rheumatoid arthritis over three months in my late 60's had me is such severe full body pain, I finally visited UCI EmeShow morergency. Then was referred to Dr. K and things got better. Literally after the first day on medication, my pain reduced by at least 50 percent. Now a week later I'm back to being almost pain free and feeling normal able to get back to my very active lifestyle. Dr. K is a true blessing and I'm thankful for having my life back! Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

Great service
I was probably overly optimistic about this clinic given the stellar reviews on google and all the awards hanged on the waiting room walls. I have an HMO so I’m not used to be referred to doctors with good reviews lol However I was surprised that when the doctor walked in didn’t even took a look at my test results or anything, he even asked me what were the results showing and had me pull the up from my phone. I found that bit unprofessional (main reason to remove 2 stars), even when I go to doctors with bad reviews they usually spend first some time to review my case and test results before walking in the room or as soon they walk in. He did then spend some time looking at me checking for any visual symptoms and asking some questions about possible symptoms, which was the good part. He then dismissed me saying I don’t have any symptoms and that blood tests are very often false positives and I should not look at them otherwise would just make me worried. Issue was that I walked out even more worried as he said “if you will end up having kidney failures or water in your heart or lungs then come back otherwise I hope to not see you again”. I sure hope I’ll will not see him again lol definitely hoping to not get to the point of kidney failure to see him.
