Behnam Khaleghi, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist who blends cutting-edge technology with comprehensive patient-oriented care and is honored to serve the communities of Orange and Laguna Hills, California, at Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center.
Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

I have been seeing Dr. Khaleghi for a few years now and he is always friendly, kind and understands my knee condition. He also takes time with you, unlike many doctors who always rush through the exam. He is the best rhumatologist in my opinion and I will see no one else for my condition!

Dr khaleghi listen to patient carefully, follow up all lab result carefully, comunicate with front desk for patient's lab resluts, he is knowlegable and informed of newest medications and treatments.

Dr. Khaleghi is a highly respected physician. He treats me with respect every time I am at his office for my treatment. He is constantly checking on me while I am getting my medication. I call him “angel” because he gave me the right medication for my rheumatoid arthritis after he saw me suffering from the medication I had from my former doctor. Thank Dr. Khaleghi.
