Thank you!! Dr. Behnam Khaleghi, saved me. He knows his line of work, like no other! Unique! One of a kind! What made matters complicated in my case, was that my disorders were wholistic and not based on one Body of Knowledge. Show more I have immense/ intolerable pain which spiralls downward with each minute that passes. I went to him at my worst (being assessed by his peers for MS). While no other specialists could identify the source of the chronic health issues, he did. Thanks to him, I can finally have moments of relief and breath (Ohm), as well as address my own personal hygiene, and chores. Things most people take for granted. He is an excellent LISTENER, with great bed side manner. he has been able to move to problem solving immediately during each flare up. He reviews my history of ailments / Cause & Effect Diagram, and logs on daily incidents (i.e. urination frequencies not improved by urological meds, sleeplessness, neurological /GI complications, and etc). My complications were confirmed by other specialists, but no one had successfully diagnosed, or treated me. I was certain I was dying, and had lost control over simple matters (like going up stairs to my own room). I had no idea what had made me so weak, sensitive, out of breath, experiencing falls, with severe chronic pain! What makes him unique is his ability to "treat the patients symptoms with diagnosis, and not the test results". He knows Immediately what to prescibe, a nd when to change regiments, and I saw exponential improvement theough my challenging journey. Ironically, my other treating specialists jumped on the band wagon and used his lead on treatment method. He continues to monitor me & dialing / fine tuning, in hopes that I regain my pizzazz. I was even able to stop the intake of handfuls of pills, thanks to him! So much more effective and efficient!!!! The man is a genius and can see things wholistically (a rare quality in specialists). Thank you for being my savior !
Since being referred to Dr Khaleghi by my primary doctor for treatment of my horrible Gout about a year ago, I have been absolutely amazed by the fantastic results of the Krystexxa treatment. From being in constant agonizing pain Show morein my knees, feet, elbows and wrists to the point often when I wondered if, or how I could continue to live a normal life? Within a couple of months My gout attacks were reduced substantially, and now after less than a year on the treatment at 76, I'm completely Pain free and dancing around like Fred Astair! Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

Very knowledgeable Doctor Who gave me good advice, but they schedule far too many appointments over two short a period of time and so patients are waiting for too long. Unfortunately, this seems to be a problem in many medical offices, but I do go to a few doctors offices where I actually get seen within a few minutes of my appointment time so I know it’s possible a medical practice like a law practice should be driven by the Desire to help people… When money gets involved anxious people with a medical or legal problem sit in the lobby very nervous. I know this is a very good Doctor Who cares and I know that he is striving to do a great job for his patients

Dr. Khaleghi is the best!!!! He was the only doctor out of a number of doctors that I had seen that actually listened to my concerns and diagnosed my problem correctly. I have been living pain free for 4 years now because of him.

I recommend to make an appointment if you are looking for a Doctor to give you direct and inform you with knowledge.
