Behnam Khaleghi, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist who blends cutting-edge technology with comprehensive patient-oriented care and is honored to serve the communities of Orange and Laguna Hills, California, at Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center.
Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

Great listener and great bedside manners. Overall I've been here at Pacific Rheumatology for a few years now lost count. But always a welcoming staff and set of Nurse Practitioners on staff. Plus, Behnam Khaleghi is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients and who has an eye for detail when it comes down to diagnosis.
Very friendly but I was waiting in Dr room for 20 minutes
Discussed change from osteopenia to osteoporosis. Will proceed with one more class infusion. Continue with calcium and D3. The change was minor.

This is my second visit and I don’t know the Dr very well but he seems to be very nice and I don’t really know anyone with my arthritis and he’s the only arthritis person I know and yes I would recommend him. I’m just getting to know him myself, so I reallcan’t say too much more.
I am a new patient and Dr. Khaleghi answered all my concerns without making me feel rushed. He and his team are very compassionate, and knowledgeable and they put my mind at ease. I Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for thorough and patient-focused care
For a 5-minute visit for an injection I was left waiting 45 minutes. I had to call several times to get my prescription sent to St Joe's. The PA is out on leave for a year, so it appears that there is only the doctor available to handle the patients, probably needs to get a PA for the duration of Janet's leave

As always Dr Behnam Khaleghi is an amazing and so good to find the issues and curing them. The office and employees are so kind and helpful with everything . So clean and organized plus good in reminding the appointments. I personally chose them as my treatment professionals for their specialist line of Rheumatologist.and I think 5 star is not enough for them . Thank you .

Not only is Dr. Khaleghi extremely knowledgeable and skilled, but he genuinely cares. I receive IV infusions every 6 weeks for two hours, and it always amazes me how often he checks on me and other patients in the infusion room, concerned about everything from the medication to being comfortable. It is such a beautiful room and soothing in the cushy reclining chair with pillows and blankets that my family and I jokingly refer to it as my “spa day.”
Amazing doctor!!! He spends all the time needed to answer patience questions, and very kind person and very very smart doctor.
I appreciate the girls in front and nurses the doctor too. They care and are very good at their jobs. When I need a RX filled they are prompt. When I need to get in to see the doctor I get in and he listens to me. It’s so hard to find good providers when you have fibromyalgia. Big thanks to the whole team for being kind and professional especially when I’m grumpy because I am in pain.
