I received the results of blood work that showed information that I had not received from two other rheumatologists in the past. The doctor also sent me for an MRI that showed positive results for a condition he had predicted and Show morehe has suggested I see a pain management doctor going forward. The office is very large with a lot of seemingly friendly and efficient staff. I will be returning in 4 to 5 months for a follow up. I am glad to have found this office. There were not a lot of good reviews out there within my Medicare Advantage Plan and I had been putting off selecting a Rheumatologist for that reason alone . Thank you Dr. Zuniga and staff!

Luis Zuniga-Montes, MD, is an exceptional physician at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Zuniga-Montes earned his medical degree at the University of Caldas in Manizales, Colombia. He completed internal medicine and rheumatology fellowships at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York.
Dr. Zuniga-Montes joined Arthritis Associates in 2011. Prior to that, he was an associate professor of rheumatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also worked as a staff rheumatologist at the San Antonio Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital.

Luis Zuñiga MD it’s a very professional rheumatologist Doctor.
Dr Monte’s is very experienced in this field. He was caring and answered my questions and even asked question. I would recommend him and his staff as they where very caring as well and they got you in and out in a timely manner.

Dr zuniga is very professional and is keeping track of my Igg4 immune system disease ,which there is no cure for, and not much he can do unless there is an “event” with the pancreas or eye orbital tumors.
