Avo Artinyan, MD, MS, is the CEO and founder of Academic Surgical Associates in Glendale, California. A nationally recognized expert and innovator in surgical oncology and colorectal surgery, Dr. Artinyan is a board-certified general surgeon, fellowship-trained surgical oncologist, and colorectal surgeon.
Dr. Artinyan is a nationally recognized expert in minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgical oncology, particularly laparoscopic, robotic, and transanal colon and rectal cancer surgery. He is known for sphincter-preserving and organ-preserving resection techniques for rectal cancer and was among the early developers of transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS). Ali Hendi, MD, is a widely recognized skin cancer specialist who has been caring for patients in the Washington, DC area for over a decade. A double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Hendi opened a state-of-the-art surgical facility, dedicated to the treatment of skin cancers, in Chevy Chase, Maryland in 2008. Since then, he has performed over 14,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions. He is active in the medical community as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University Medical Center. He is involved in resident education at the Washington Hospital Center Dermatology Residency Program.

Aliu Sanni, MD, FACS, is a Bariatric and General Surgeon of Eastside Bariatric & General Surgery, located in Snellville, Georgia.
Dr. Sanni began his medical training at Newcastle Upon Tyne in England before coming to the United States. He completed his Residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York and his Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Kaitlyn Bernhard, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing at Tussey Mountain Foot & Ankle Specialists located in State College, Pennsylvania.
Originally from central Pennsylvania, Dr. Bernhard completed her undergraduate studies at Mercyhurst University with honors in a Bachelor of Science in biology. Following in her father’s footsteps, she received her doctorate at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. A 2017 graduate from Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program in Denver, Colorado, she was extensively trained in reconstructive and trauma surgery involving the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle.

Peter M. Vincent, DPM has been an Associate Podiatrist at Washington Foot & Ankle Sports Medicine in Kirkland, Washington since August 2006.

Ariel Soffer, MD, FACC, is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and is a Vein Specialist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. At Soffer Health Institute, with offices in Hollywood, Deerfield Beach, and Weston, Florida, Dr. Soffer specializes in a variety of diagnostic testing and treatments for cardiovascular conditions and is leading the way in exemplary vein care. Even the renowned Dr. Mehmet Oz of “The Dr. Oz Show” recognized Dr. Soffer’s work in treating chronic cardiovascular diseases, calling him “the best cardiologist” during a television appearance.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Soffer has dedicated his time to treating venous circulation disorders and varicose veins. He even spends time creating awareness about circulatory issues among cardiologists, and he’s published two landmark articles on vein conditions in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Soffer heads a prestigious venous training program for cardiologists and surgeons and continues to lecture internationally on a variety of circulatory issues. His published book about mitral valve prolapse syndrome is currently available on Amazon.
Dr. Soffer graduated with distinction with a medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the prestigious program at the University of California at Los Angeles. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology and is one of only a few cardiologists in Florida to be licensed in nuclear cardiology.
One of the first cardiologists to become proficient in laser treatment for vein issues, Dr. Soffer also trains other cardiology specialists in laser ablation techniques. Dr. Robert Snow is one of the leading bariatric surgeons in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He’s proud to use his expertise and attentive bedside manner to help men and women with their weight loss and health journeys at Snow Bariatric Center in Fort Worth and Hurst, Texas, Texas.
Dr. Snow has extensive experience with established treatment approaches such as gastric bypass and gastric sleeve. He’s also long been on the cutting edge of weight loss surgery and is dedicated to continued education to ensure his patients have the best possible treatment options. He was part of the first group of surgeons in the United States to be trained in and perform LAP-BAND® placement and has trained and proctored over 300 surgeons in the procedure.
At Snow Bariatric Center, in addition to LAP-BAND, he also offers newer techniques such as the Obalon® Balloon System and endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, which produce dramatic weight loss results without surgery.
Dr. Snow received his bachelor’s in biology from the University of Texas at Austin, then attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from medical school, he completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Dallas-Fort Worth Medical Center.
During his residency, Dr. Snow was a visiting resident in trauma surgery, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He’s since gone on to complete fellowships in bariatric surgery at Hospital Angeles in Mexico City and Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Snow has achieved local and national recognition. Among other achievements, he is a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the country’s leading weight loss society, and his peers have voted him to be a Fort Worth Magazine “Top Doc” for several years running.
