Medzdabe Desravines (Medz) started his journey in Traditional Chinese Medicine after his beloved 97-year-old grandmother passed from complications of multiple hip and femur fractures. He decided then that he wanted to help loved ones with their health issues where Western medicine could not.
Medz graduated with a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is licensed in acupuncture in New York State. His major area of treatment is pain management.
Medz uses a variety of acupuncture systems when treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, rendering immediate pain reduction in his patients. His other areas of focus are Metabolic Syndrome pathologies - hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, men’s health, digestive disorders, and chronic fatigue.

Following his early training in Shiatsu, Ashtanga yoga, therapeutic bodywork and cranial and visceral manipulation, Dr. Hillenbrand trained and got his Doctorate at New York Chiropractic College. He focused on cultivating hands-on skills and went on to receive a master's degree in acupuncture from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Hillenbrand studied with world-renowned teachers, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and osteopaths and has received training in such modalities as manual lymphatic drainage, zero balancing and trigger neuromuscular and myofascial therapies. He is one of the few chiropractors and acupuncturists who have received both extensive manual therapy training and worked in hospital settings including Clifton Springs Hospital and the Rochester VA Medical Center. Dr. Hillenbrand also teaches part-time at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. Moreover, he has designed course content for classes such as Yoga in a Chiropractic Setting and Advanced Myofascial Techniques for New York Chiropractic College. He also teaches continued education courses in orthopedic acupuncture and anatomy and physiology. In his spare time Dr. Hillenbrand enjoys hiking, practicing yoga and Aikido. He has a third-degree black belt!
Hi! My name is Lisa, and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from The New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, I am a certified Kyojung practitioner. Having spent time in the U.S. and China studying among the doctors of Shanghai University Hospital, University of Bridgeport, and NYCTCM, I am inspired to continue to educate myself on treatment protocols and patient care. The success of my own patients speaks to the efficacy of my treatment methods, and is the driving force behind my dedication to treating musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Ura Shin completed her Master of Science from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York with four years of in-depth clinical experience. She then earned a doctoral degree in traditional Chinese medicine from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Dr. Ura Shin is board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
