Urvashi Keswani, DDS, is an Associate Periodontist at Perio & Implant Center of Monterey Bay and Silicon Valley, with locations in Sunnyvale and Monterey, California.

Born and raised in a country that is a dazzling mosaic of vibrant colors, rich traditions, and unforgettable flavors—India!

Dr. Keswani moved to the United States to pursue her DDS at UCLA School of Dentistry, after which she relocated to New Jersey for specialty training in Periodontics at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

The field of periodontics fascinated her due to its focus on preventative care and its crucial role in maintaining overall systematic health. The opportunity to address often-overlooked aspects of dental health and make a real difference in patients' lives is what drove her to pursue this specialty.

When Dr. Keswani is not perfecting smiles, you'll find her taste-testing unique snacks, redecorating her space like a DIY guru, or getting lost in a murder mystery novel.

Thanks to her husband, she is also an honorary NBA fan. Now, she's an expert at pretending to understand basketball while passionately cheering for his favorite team.

Dr. Keswani is also a trained Indian classical music vocalist and a self-taught keyboard player.

Raoul Shah, DDS, is an experienced general dentist at Willow Glen Dental Center in San Jose, California. Dr. Shah is dedicated to making all of his patients happy and enjoys building long-lasting relationships with each of them.

Dr. Shah was born and raised in Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in anthropology-zoology and biology. He was always interested in the medical field and ultimately chose to pursue dental school at the University of Michigan, where he graduated in 2000.

From 2000 to 2005, Dr. Shaw worked in various dental offices in Michigan, Virginia, and Georgia, before finally moving to California. Dr. Shah previously owned a dental practice in Fremont, California, for 10 years before selling it and partnering with Meridian Dental Associates in 2015, now renamed Willow Glen Dental Center. 

Dr. Shah enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has taken numerous continuing education courses throughout his career. He specifically studied the placement and restoration of dental implants and has experience treating full-mouth implant rehabilitation cases. Dedicated to providing stellar service, Dr. Shah has worked with various consultants to find ways to improve the doctor-patient relationship and  ensure his practice is headed in the right direction. 

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Shah spends most of his time with his family. His wife, Neha, and their three kids keep him very busy, attending boy scout events, gymnastics competitions, and various dance performances. He also enjoys visiting wineries, playing the occasional round of golf, and traveling.

Dr. Abbas Doctor is a board certified periodontist passionate about improving oral health. Raised in a rural town in West Virginia, Dr. Abbas was inspired by his father, a general dentist, to pursue a career in dentistry. He earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical science at Marshall University before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University.

Driven to expand his clinical expertise, Dr. Abbas completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. While completing the AEGD, he developed a strong interest in periodontics. This passion led him to pursue an advanced specialty training in periodontics along with a Master of Science degree, at the University of Texas at Houston.

Dr. Abbas has been practicing in California since the completion of his residency in periodontics. He is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care using the latest techniques and technology.

In his free time, Dr. Abbas enjoys spending time with his wife, Andrea, hiking, cooking and exploring new places.

Dr. Debra Westervelt is originally from Hemet, a small town in Southern California. In her early years of college, she found a passion in healthcare where she felt she could best impact her community and graduated with a degree in biology from La Sierra University at the top of her class. She then earned a doctorate degree at the acclaimed University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Westervelt loves every aspect of dentistry and worked as a general dentist in the Napa area for several years. She enjoyed working closely with many specialists and collaborating in changing people’s lives. She was heavily involved in study clubs and advanced continuing education and became inspired by the specialists she had the opportunity to work with.

Fascinated with the connection between oral and systemic health and determined to further her education, Dr. Westervelt obtained her specialty certificate in periodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Westervelt is passionate about helping her community by improving each patient’s overall health through ideal periodontal health. She understands the importance of comprehensive dental care and working closely with other experts in both dentistry and medicine. Her unique point of view as both a general dentist and a periodontist allows a broad understanding of her patient’s wants and needs. Patient care is Dr. Westervelt’s top priority, and this sentiment is felt by each patient she treats.

In her free time, Dr. Westervelt enjoys hiking, camping, and bike rides with her dog Jake. She enjoys gardening and cooking with her husband, Reed.  She loves the Bay Area and enjoys exploring the surrounding ocean, mountains, and towns whenever she has the opportunity.

Roge Jacob, DDS, is a skilled family and cosmetic dentist who has been providing quality dental care since 1994. Dr. Jacob currently serves patients at Hillsdale Dental Care in San Jose, California. 

Dr. Jacob grew up in suburban Chicago, Illinois. He completed his pre-dental degree requirements at San Jose State University and received his dental degree from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Dr. Azzarelli received her dental degree from the Medical University of Silesia in Poland in 1994. Olga Belova, DDS, is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist. She provides the Bay Area community with exceptional dental care at Almaden Dental Associates, conveniently located in San Jose, California.

Dr. Belova earned her first dental degree from the University of Moscow Dental School in Moscow, Russia. After relocating to the United States, she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She spends a great deal of time in continuing education courses in order to stay current on all of the latest trends and developments in dental techniques and technologies.

Dr. Belova is fluent in Russian. When she’s not working with patients, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters.

After graduating from Leland High School in Almaden in 1975, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry at UC Davis. Dr. Syn received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago in 1983. After practicing in the Lake Shore Area of Chicago and doing research with Northwestern Medical School in the area of Dental Vaccinations. He returned to San Jose, California to start his private practice in the neighborhood of his youth in 1984. Dr. Syn is an expert in the field of dental computer technology and has lectured and consulted in this field since 1983. He enjoys photography, videography, flyfishing, and computer science.
