She continued her training by completing an ACGME accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ. A lifelong learner and educator, Dr. Yagerman is proud to return to NYU to serve as Voluntary Faculty, where she volunteers weekly with residents, teaching surgical skills and overseeing the clinic.

Sherry H. Hsiung, MD, is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Hsiung also practices general and cosmetic dermatology at SINY’s® three New York City–area offices, in the city’s West Village and in the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Hsiung earned undergraduate degrees in both biology and chemical engineering, graduating with honors. While earning her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in Philadelphia, she was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. As a crucial part of the SINY® medical team, Dr. Hsiung specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a surgical technique used to treat skin cancer, focused on removing all of the cancer cells while preserving the healthy tissue in sensitive areas such as the face, hands, feet or genitals. She completed a prestigious fellowship in Mohs surgery with Dr. Perry Robins at NYU, and she is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Allison Jaekle is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Allison was born and raised locally on Long Island. She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in History with a concentration in Public Health. She then attended Touro College for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, where she received the Leadership, Academic, and Clinical Achievement awards upon graduation.
She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Dr. Regina Zambrano DiFiore is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), where she sees patients at the Massapequa, Long Island office. Amy B. Lewis, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She then received her Medical Degree, with highest honors, from the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis then moved to the New York area for a medical internship at Cornell/New York Hospital, and completed her Dermatology residency at Downstate Medical Center as Chief Resident. She returned to Yale for a fellowship in Dermatological Laser and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Stull is originally from Philadelphia and served as an Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining MDCS. Dr. Stull completed dermatology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where she served as chief resident. As a double board-certified physician, William T. Long, MD, FAAD, is a trusted expert in all aspects of dermatology. With over three decades in practice, Dr. Long is an in-demand practitioner at Manhattan Dermatology’s two locations in Murray Hill and Midtown East, New York City.
After earning his doctor of medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Long relocated to New York City for his postgraduate training. He went through both his internship and internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Long completed a second residency, specializing in dermatology, at the New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center, which is one of the premier dermatology programs in the United States.
To ensure he’s always up-to-date in the latest medical advancements, Dr. Long maintains his fellowship with the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as his membership with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Long is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology.
When Dr. Long is away from the clinic, he teaches residents and medical students at the NYU School of Medicine. He’s served as a professor at NYU for over 30 years. Dr. Long’s daughter, Dr. Wendy Long, works alongside him at the clinic.
We are happy to welcome Michelle Levy, MD to Manhattan Dermatology. She is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, and treats both adults and children.
Dr. Levy is originally from Toronto, Canada. She completed both her medical training and dermatology residency at the University of Toronto, graduating with honors. During her schooling and dermatology training, Dr. Levy was the recipient of numerous awards for both academic excellence and for research and was selected by her program to serve as Chief Resident during her final year of training.
In addition to her residency, Dr. Levy has received advanced training in the non-invasive diagnosis of skin cancer from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is board-certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Levy is a sought-after speaker and educator and has taught dermatology to many physicians in training. As part of her commitment to education, she serves as a clinical instructor at NYU’s Department of Dermatology. Dr. Levy’s interests include skin cancer detection and the treatment of acne and psoriasis.

Being raised by a dermatologist — her father, William T. Long, FD, FAAD, also works at the clinic — Dr. Wendy Long knew she would follow in her father’s footsteps. After graduating from the Honors College at the University of Michigan with Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society membership, Dr. Wendy Long was accepted into medical school.
She earned her doctor of medicine degree from New York University (NYU). During medical school, Dr. Wendy Long published the public education book entitled “Coping with Melanoma and Other Skin Cancers.”
Dr. Wendy Long went on to finish an internal medicine internship, followed up by a dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. Throughout her residency, she was an integral part of the treatment of melanomas, from diagnosis through treatment, in one of the largest multidisciplinary melanoma care centers in the world.
Shortly after completing her residency, Dr. Wendy Long was accepted into a prestigious fellowship program in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic laser surgery. This advanced training allows Dr. Wendy Long to provide the highest cure rate in treating skin cancer while achieving optimal aesthetic results.
Dr. Wendy Long currently serves as a clinical assistant professor at NYU’s Langone Medical Center, which is one of the premier dermatology programs in the United States.
