Amazing bedside manner!! I was so scared of the surgery at first but during the whole procedure he explained everything stopped to make me comfortable and giving me more anesthesia so I wouldn’t feel anything! It was a very pleasaShow morent experience! Totally recommend him!

Christos Dimitris Zouzias, MD, MBA, specializes in medical and procedural dermatology at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey.

Dr. Zouzias earned his Bachelor of Art and Doctor of Medicine at New York University (NYU) in New York City. Prior to medical school, Dr. Zouzias spent a year completing a student research fellowship in supportive onco-dermatology, studying the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy on the skin. He worked under the mentorship of Beth McLellan, MD, the current chief of dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Following medical school, Dr. Zouzias earned a Master of Business Administration at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Then, he went on to complete his medical internship at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, New York.
Dr. Zouzias continued his training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, completing his dermatology residency program. During his residency, Dr. Zouzias was awarded Outstanding House Officer for his compassion, expert clinical skills, and professional rapport.
In his free time, Dr. Zouzias enjoys cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Upon graduation, he went on to do an internship at the Hofstra Northwell Internal Medicine Residency Program at North Shore/LIJ hospital for one year before heading to the Bronx to complete three years of dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Zouzias specializes in both medical and procedural dermatology and prides himself on taking a personal, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary approach to deliver optimal treatment and ensure patient satisfaction. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

The day of my appointment, Dr Husain was having trouble with the machine that analysis skin samples. The Doctor kept me informed and had his staff provide updates as my surgery progressed. They did not leave me in a room wondering what was going on but kept me up to date. That was greatly appreciated.

His explanations and recommendations are clearly explained including any risks or side effects that may occur while trying to resolve them. A very trustworthy and professional Dermatologist for sure!
Lea answered all my questions and remedied my leg irrational sores via injections. I'm feeling much better and appreciate the service and congeniality that Lea demonstrates to me as her patient. I highly recommend her for dermatology flare ups, moles, I have been prescribed medications for my legs and the sores are healing nicely.
