Dr. Levy is originally from Toronto, Canada. She completed both her medical training and dermatology residency at the University of Toronto, graduating with honors. During her schooling and dermatology training, Dr. Levy was the recipient of numerous awards for both academic excellence and for research and was selected by her program to serve as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

In addition to her residency, Dr. Levy has received advanced training in the non-invasive diagnosis of skin cancer from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is board-certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Levy is a sought-after speaker and educator and has taught dermatology to many physicians in training. As part of her commitment to education, she serves as a clinical instructor at NYU’s Department of Dermatology. Dr. Levy’s interests include skin cancer detection and the treatment of acne and psoriasis.

Being raised by a dermatologist — her father, William T. Long, FD, FAAD, also works at the clinic — Dr. Wendy Long knew she would follow in her father’s footsteps. She earned her doctor of medicine degree from New York University (NYU). During medical school, Dr. Wendy Long published the public education book entitled “Coping with Melanoma and Other Skin Cancers.”

Dr. Wendy Long went on to finish an internal medicine internship, followed up by a dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. Throughout her residency, she was an integral part of the treatment of melanomas, from diagnosis through treatment, in one of the largest multidisciplinary melanoma care centers in the world.

Shortly after completing her residency, Dr. Wendy Long was accepted into a prestigious fellowship program in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic laser surgery. Dr. Wendy Long currently serves as a clinical assistant professor at NYU’s Langone Medical Center, which is one of the premier dermatology programs in the United States. After earning his doctor of medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Long relocated to New York City for his postgraduate training. He went through both his internship and internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Long completed a second residency, specializing in dermatology, at the New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center, which is one of the premier dermatology programs in the United States.

To ensure he’s always up-to-date in the latest medical advancements, Dr. Long maintains his fellowship with the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as his membership with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Michael Tassavor, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and attending physician at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey.
