Philip Fried, MD, is the medical director at West Derm Center, which he originally founded in 1991. Under Dr. Fried’s expert guidance, the practice has grown to six New York locations, one each in White Plains, New Rochelle, and Yonkers, and their Bronx offices in Pelham Gardens and Riverdale. At each location, Dr. Fried ensures that patients have access to a wide range of dermatological and aesthetic services.

Dr. Fried began his education at Touro College in Manhattan, where he graduated magna cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

Jonathan Beschloss, MD, FAAD, is a native of Westbury, and he’s proud to serve his home community at All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, in Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.

Dr. Beschloss has a diverse background of service, and is committed to care centered around patients and their families. He focuses on partnerships and patient education to deliver the highest quality dermatology services. He’s skilled in all areas of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic.

A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Beschloss is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his medical degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005 after serving 10 years as an aviator in the United States Navy.

Prior to completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree, Samantha worked in dermatology for 12 years and this is where she developed her passion for this field. Dr. Ezra Hazan is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hazan went on to do an internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed his dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. There he gained extensive knowledge and experience in procedural dermatology, including surgery of the skin as well as advanced cosmetic procedures like injectables, lasers and light based technologies.

Dr. Hazan is on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he helps train dermatology residents, and at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. He has published many academic journal articles and authored multiple textbook chapters on various topics in the field of dermatology. Dr. Hazan is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery. He is passionate about the management and treatment of skin cancers, as well as cosmetic treatments and general dermatologic conditions. He strives to provide personalized quality care to all of his patients.
