Steven Brooks, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Brooks Dermatology in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Brooks is dedicated to providing his patients with quality medical care and the latest advances in aesthetic dermatology. His areas of special interest include pediatric dermatology, psoriasis and acne treatment, and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Brooks was raised in Long Island. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Following his studies, he went on to pursue his master’s degree in biomedical sciences research at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Upon completion, he attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for his medical training. Dr. Brooks is dual board certified in dermatology and family medicine. He received his specialized training at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York.
Dr. Brooks is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a clinical professor of dermatology at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Best Dr. For your skin needs
I was referred to Dr. Brooks by a colleague. I am struggling with eczema and menopausal acne. He was very nice and prescribed a medication that could treat both conditions. So far, it seems to be working. It's still too early to tell but so far I had a great experience.
