Dr. Alexander Shraga is a Board-Certified  Dermatologist who has been in practice since completing his residency training in 2003.  He studied medicine at the highly-regarded Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, earning his MD degree at one of the top medical schools in the country.   He also earned a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.  He graduated from Hopkins with academic honors and was inducted into the Delta Omega honor society. Lainey Ortiz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in Spotswood, NJ. 

Mrs. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from LIU in Brooklyn, New York. Aton M. Holzer, MD, FAAD, FACMS, is a seasoned Mohs surgeon who is the Director of Mohs Surgery in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, a major academic hospital in the heart of a bustling metropolis, where he supervises a busy Mohs unit with three surgeons, residents and student rotators, and also serves as director of the American College of Mohs Surgery Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowship program.    Dr. Holzer was born and raised in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete a master's degree in modern Jewish history. He then attended medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he graduated with an M.D. with Honors in Research, and where he was awarded the prestigious “Good Physician” award. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, a four-year Research Track residency in dermatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas under the tutelage of Leonard H. Goldberg, MD. In the past, he has worked as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in both South Miami and Pembroke Pines, Florida and as a part-time teledermatology consultant for Refuah Health Center in Rockland County, New York.    Since 2015, he has divided his time between Israel and the United States. He commutes back to the U.S. one week per month to treat Mohs patients in our Spotswood, NJ office, as well as numerous other offices in the Northeast, mostly in communities that are relatively underserved by Mohs surgeons. He is a fellow member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the Israel Medical Association. Dr. Holzer has authored a published chapter in a dermatology textbook and has authored and co-authored dozens of articles published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals. He has delivered talks and his work has been presented at national and international Mohs and dermatology conferences. He lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel with his wife and six children.

Adam Nabatian, MD, FAAD, FACMS, is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in Spotswood, NJ. 

Dr. Nabatian completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, graduating Magna cum laude with honors. He then attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and performed his residency in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete an additional Mohs/Procedural Dermatology Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY, where he continues to serve as a clinical Instructor. Maria Joyce Rowena Bernabe, MD, is a dermatologist with Dermatology Associates of Central NJ in Old Bridge, Freehold, and Union, New Jersey.

Dr. Bernabe is licensed in family practice. She holds certification in radiation therapy of basal and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin. Dr. Bernabe is also certified in cosmetic procedures.

Initially trained in the Philippines, Dr. Bernabe graduated from Ateneo de Davao University, Davao Medical School Foundation with a bachelor’s degree in biology and Doctor of Medicine degree. Joanna Trigg DO is a Board Certified Dermatologist who treats both adult and pediatric patients. She is a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn and attended Bishop Kearney High School. After graduating summa cum laude and earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Wagner College, Dr. Trigg received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She then completed her residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During her residency, Dr. Trigg attended, presented and lectured at many conferences. She also served as Chief Dermatology resident during the final year. Training in New York City gave her exposure to a very large and diverse patient population.

Dr. Trigg is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Theresa Durchhalter, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Allure Dermatology in Hicksville, New York. She specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology and has experience treating adult and pediatric patients with a wide array of skin disorders, including acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, alopecia, and skin cancers.

Dr. Penzi completed her bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematical sciences at Loyola University Maryland, where she graduated summa cum laude. She went on to finish her medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. Christos Dimitris Zouzias, MD, MBA, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at MDCS Dermatology. Dr. Zouzias specializes in procedural dermatology, skin cancer management, and Mohs micrographic surgery, offering personalized and patient-centered care to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. Dr. Zouzias earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees at New York University (NYU) in New York City. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Kupetsky completed her B.A. at Rutgers-NJIT and medical school in Rowan-SOM. She completed a family medicine residency at St. Joseph's hospital in Philadelphia, a Masters in Pharmacology at Thomas Jefferson University, and a Dermatopharmacology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Kupetsky completed her dermatology residency in Ohio in 2016 and has worked as an employee for a large dermatology company for about two years before deciding to start her own private practice.

She speaks English and Spanish, lives in NJ, and enjoys golfing, jogging, and spending time with family.

Sahar Y. Naseer, MD, is a talented dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in Smithtown and Hampton Bays, New York. With her extensive background in research, she brings fresh ideas to the table for each of her patients’ treatment plans. Dr. Naseer earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she graduated with honors in 2009. We are excited to welcome Dr. Kalee Shah to MDCS Dermatology! Dr. Shah is double
board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery by the American
Board of Dermatology

She grew up in Southern California and graduated as a Presidential and Renaissance
scholar from the University of Southern California. She subsequently moved to New
York to earn her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. During medical school,
she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and a recipient of the
Glasgow-Rubin Memorial Achievement Award honoring select women for academic
achievement.

Dr. Shah completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and
her dermatology residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her
final year, she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed
subspecialty fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and
reconstructive surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell
Medicine. She then became Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at
Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Shah's primary clinical focus is the management of skin cancers including
squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, early-stage melanoma, and rare
cutaneous tumors. She additionally provides medical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology
services. Dr. Shah lives in New York City with her husband and miniature dachshund, Gus.
