Jonathan Schreiber, MD, PhD, medical director at Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater, located in Norfolk, Virginia, embarked on his medical training much like he practices medicine – with respect and commitment to quality.
He began his journey at Stanford University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human biology with a concentration in medical microbiology. Dr. Schreiber continued his education at Duke University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors, earning both a medical degree and doctor of philosophy degree in pharmacology.
After interning in the Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Schreiber completed a dermatology residency at the Tufts Medical Center through a combined program with Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Schreiber is board certified in dermatology. Additional specialty interests include dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, and pediatric dermatology. When he isn’t helping his patients, Dr. Schreiber is active in a variety of professional associations. He is the past president of the Tidewater Dermatology Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Physician assistant Kevin Charles, PA-C, provides dermatology services to patients at Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater, located in Norfolk, and Portsmouth, Virginia. Kevin is certified and licensed in the state of Virginia. He has over ten years of dermatology experience, skilled with skin cancer screenings, treatment of all skin cancer types, performing biopsies, definitive cancer excisions with primary repairs, biopsies, bacterial and fungal testing, and excisions of many types of non-cancerous growths.
Kevin received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Science from George Washington. Kevin spent over 22 years in the Navy. Upon enlisting in 1986, he completed SEAL training and was based at local teams while holding additional responsibilities as a Corpsman/Medic. His last 12 years were as a Physician Assistant. He was stationed at Little Creek, Ft Bragg, China Lake, and deployed during the Gulf War. Overseas assignments include Spain, Scotland, Latin America with humanitarian missions to Africa and Cambodia.
Since retiring from the Navy, he has provided medical services for the US Army, US Navy, Chesapeake Regional, and local Urgent Care Centers. As an educator, he provides instruction to interns and medical students, and navy corpsmen. He remains active in the following organizations: Society of Dermatology Assistants, Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, Tidewater Dermatology, and Tidewater Mid-Level Dermatology Society.

Kevin’s off-time activities include biking, the gym, kayaking, skydiving, and keeping up with the adventures of his three children.

Dr. Anis Miladi is our Mohs Surgeon and Director of Mohs Clinic. Graduating from Wright State University and Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH, he interned in internal medicine at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA and began his service and practice as a Flight Surgeon with the Marines. Dr. Miladi completed a residency in dermatology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC before practicing medical dermatology at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, FL while completing his Mohs Micrographic Surgery training. He is currently practicing Mohs at the Naval Medical Center and serves Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater with Saturday Mohs surgeries.

Dr. Timothy Lee Gardner, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with the Dermatology Consultants of Gloucester in Gloucester, Virginia. A United States Army veteran, Dr. Gardner’s 13 years of combined military and medical service has taken him across all corners of America, from the Pacific Northwest to the South, to our nation’s capital and Appalachia.
A Virginia native, Dr. Gardner completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond. He served his internship in Fort Lewis, Washington, and his residency in dermatology in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Dr. Gardner finished his fellowship in dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology on the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
After his honorable discharge from service, Dr. Gardner moved to Eastern Tennessee, where he practiced dermatology for eight years. His most recent work took place over the past three years at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina, where he dedicated his work to our great veterans in need of medical care.
Dr. Gardner has dedicated his professional life to serving our wonderfully diverse nation, and his breadth of experience and expertise has made him one of the most trusted names in dermatology in Virginia.
