Sherry H. Hsiung, MD, is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Hsiung earned undergraduate degrees in both biology and chemical engineering, graduating with honors. During her residency, Dr. Trigg attended, presented and lectured at many conferences. She also served as Chief Dermatology resident during the final year. Training in New York City gave her exposure to a very large and diverse patient population.

Michael Noonan, MD, is board-certified in both pediatric and general dermatology. He treats patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby, Trumbull, and Westport, Connecticut. 

Dr. Noonan graduated from Williams College magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Yale University Hospital with a concentration in pediatrics. Originally from Westchester, New York, Dr. Verhave completed his undergraduate training at Cornell University and received his medical degree from Upstate Medical University where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital followed by his dermatology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.  During the course of his training, he completed a clinical trials research fellowship aimed at discovering therapeutics for difficult to treat and understudied dermatologic conditions.  Dr. Verhave takes pride in treating patients of all ages and focuses his practice on medical and procedural dermatology.  In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Verhave is an active contributor to the dermatology literature, publishing both scholarly research articles and textbook chapters.

Alexander Fogel, MD, is a highly-skilled dermatologist serving patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut.

Dr. Fogel is double board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (a.k.a. Mohs). He heads our surgical and reconstructive dermatology practice, which encompasses Mohs surgery, as well surgery for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and benign lesions, such as lipomas and cysts. 

Dr. Fogel was educated and trained at Caltech, Stanford, and Yale. He remains a clinical faculty member at the Yale University Department of Dermatology, and is responsible for educating dermatologists in training. During her schooling and dermatology training, Dr. Levy was the recipient of numerous awards for both academic excellence and for research and was selected by her program to serve as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

In addition to her residency, Dr. Levy has received advanced training in the non-invasive diagnosis of skin cancer from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is board-certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Levy is a sought-after speaker and educator and has taught dermatology to many physicians in training. As part of her commitment to education, she serves as a clinical instructor at NYU’s Department of Dermatology. Dr. Levy’s interests include skin cancer detection and the treatment of acne and psoriasis.

As a double board-certified physician, William T. Long, MD, FAAD, is a trusted expert in all aspects of dermatology. With over three decades in practice, Dr. Long is an in-demand practitioner at Manhattan Dermatology’s two locations in Murray Hill and Midtown East, New York City.

After earning his doctor of medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Long relocated to New York City for his postgraduate training. He went through both his internship and internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Long completed a second residency, specializing in dermatology, at the New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center, which is one of the premier dermatology programs in the United States.

To ensure he’s always up-to-date in the latest medical advancements, Dr. Long maintains his fellowship with the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as his membership with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Long is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology.

When Dr. Long is away from the clinic, he teaches residents and medical students at the NYU School of Medicine. He’s served as a professor at NYU for over 30 years. Dr. Long’s daughter, Dr. Wendy Long, works alongside him at the clinic.

Shortly after completing her residency, Dr. Wendy Long was accepted into a prestigious fellowship program in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic laser surgery. This advanced training allows Dr. Wendy Long to provide the highest cure rate in treating skin cancer while achieving optimal aesthetic results.
