Shira Wieder, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and one of the newest members of the West Derm Center team. Her passion, training, and vigilance serve her patients well at West Derm Center’s Riverdale office located in the Bronx, New York.

Dr. Wieder earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in 2015. She followed with a year at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, studying how to spot early biomarkers of melanoma.

From there, Dr. Wieder served a one-year internship in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. This was followed by a three-year dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as chief resident in her final year

Juliana Williams, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology services at West Derm Center’s Riverdale office in the Bronx, New York. 

Juliana has 10 years of experience in clinical trials. She served as a sub-investigator for trials on device studies, inpatient and outpatient studies, and first-in-man studies, and was responsible for the subjects of the clinical trials throughout. Olesya is an experienced, highly-trained Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. She sees patients for acne, rashes, warts, skin cancer screenings, chemical peels, and microneedling. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Felician University, then completed her Masters in Science in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University before completing Dermatology training for three years at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center under Dr. Gangaram Ragi. She is a member of the National Nursing Honors Society and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Olesya is also fluent in Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian.  

Asmi Sanghvi, MD, is a board-certified medical and cosmetic dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She has advanced training in integrative medicine, which she applies in her practice. Dr. Sanghvi offers high-quality skin care to adolescents and adults at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Dr. Sanghvi received her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She went on to earn her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Sanghvi then completed extensive training in her dermatology residency at Orlando Dermatology in Maitland, Florida.

Currently, Dr. Sanghvi is a Clinical Instructor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in the Department of Cosmetic Surgery. Her work has been published in several top peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.

Henry Heaton, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist as well as a fellowship-trained and board-certified Mohs surgeon. He is the Associate Director at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center, having performed several thousand Mohs surgeries in addition to various laser and dermatologic surgeries. Dr. Heaton provides comprehensive care to teenagers and adults in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Dr. Heaton’s attended medical school at SUNY Downstate, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude as the valedictorian of his medical school class. He completed his Dermatology residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and his fellowship training in Mohs Surgery at Rowan University, New Jersey. Dr. Heaton also pursued extensive training during his internship at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Heaton has published several scientific research articles and textbook chapters. He has received numerous awards for his role as an educator of medical students and resident physicians.
