My first time being at Dr. Hobbs Obgyn Office I like it. The nurses was nice and friendly. I love inside of the place when I first came in it was comfortable. Im going to like going to see the doctor. The only thing I don't like iShow mores my my fiancee wouldn't be able to come to some of my appointments I think it's best for your partner to be apart of the journey also. That's my opinion. Dr. Hobbs was cool and collect in the midwives they got down to work. In my appointment was over with. Maybe because I was far along that's I guess. Overall I recommend other pregnant women to come to Dr. Hobbs Office for care.
I have been going to this practice for 30 years now, and Dr. Hobbs and Karen have only gotten even better over time. Dr. Hobbs is a great doctor with professionalism and a great sense of humor which make the visit a good experiencShow moree. He listens with patience, and I like the fact that he does not have to figure out what is going on but knows my “story.” I also like the fact that he sits down, on eye level with me, and does not seem to be hurried but still manages to get me out of the office in a timely manner with all my issues resolved or recommendations to have them resolved.

Dr. Hobbs completed his Bachelor of Science from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry in 1977. He obtained ancillary pre-medical studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1975. He then received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1981. Dr. Hobbs completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he was voted “Chief Resident of the Year” during his final year of residency.
Dr. Hobbs has remained active in academic medicine, teaching resident physicians and medical students. He serves as a clinical associate professor in both the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine departments at Augusta University, as well as a clinical instructor for Ross University School of Medicine and UMHS School of Medicine.

I was told Dr Hobbs wasn’t there and would I mind seeing the midwife I said I didn’t mind . It was a surprise to see Dr. Hobbs . He said he came over from the hospital to get something and he saw my chart and haven’t seen me and a while . He’s very professional and listens . Veronica.

I highly recommend this obgyn. Mine retired and I called around everywhere annd no one would take me for months out. Everyone I met is wonderful and thorough. Every question I had, got answered. When no one would take me in immediately, they took me serious and got me in, within a week.

Dr. Hobbs and the nurses listened to my concerns and because we recently moved took me later in my pregnancy. They are very caring and strive to follow my birthplan and needs. Great place to go to!
