Not five stars because I had to wait quite some time for an appointment. However, it was definitely worth the wait. Dr Johnson spent much more time with me than I anticipated she would. Dr Johnson was extremely thorough in going oShow morever my history and listened with interest to my life story. She also explained things extremely well and in a very relatable way. I was able to make a treatment plan during the first appointment. I look forward to exploring a new method of treatment for my depression and anxiety.
I have done ketamine treatments at Colorado springs recovery and along with the treatments, another benefit is having Rhonda, the nurse, as a caretaker during the treatments. She is so loving, so compassionate, and came out of retShow moreirement because she wanted to continue helping people. The treatments have helped my depression immensely! Dr. Ashley Johnson, is an interventional psychiatrist, board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She leads the team at Colorado Recovery Solutions in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to help patients improve their mental health and general well-being.
Dr. Ashley Johnson graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and completed her doctoral degree at Kansas City University in 2006. She then served nearly 14 years as an active-duty Air Force psychiatrist and continues to serve as an Air Force Reserve psychiatrist at Joint Base San Antonio.
Her life experiences, family, friends, and faith inspired a love for understanding and caring for those who suffer from all forms of mental health conditions, inspiring her to complete her four-year residency in psychiatry at Wright State University Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Ashley Johnson has lost loved ones to suicide and severe mental illness.
