We went to see Dr. Bocian for my daughter. She had a very painful ingrown toenail that came in very quickly and was infected. She’s a dancer and needed to get back to it! He was so very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She is 12 Show moreand was very nervous for the procedure. He made her feel really comfortable and even had her laughing a bit by the end. He is by far the best type of provider. It’s rare these days to go to a doctors office and not feel rushed or like a burden. He answered my hundred questions (I’m one of those annoying mamas who asked about everything!!) and he even addressed a few other foot issues she’s been dealing with. He was very caring and made sure she knew all about the after care for her toe, and even recommended a product for her that they had available in office. His office staff greeted us warmly and were super helpful when it came to paperwork and insurance questions. I would, without a doubt, refer any of my family and friends to see Dr. Bocian.
I had went to Dr. Boeschen six years ago with plantar fasciitis in my left foot at that time he was experimenting with laser technology and honestly that’s the only thing that worked for that foot to get rid of the pain . It is Show morebeen six years and I’ve had no problem in my left foot but all the sudden I started having the same problem in my right foot so I went back to him and he has a new laser it seems to be working very well for me just like it did in my left foot . I cannot say enough good things about Doctor Bocian I had dealt with pain along time in my left foot before I found him and nothing had worked and tell use the laser technology on my left foot . He is one of the best doctors that I’ve ever went to period!
With more than 30 years of experience, board-certified podiatrist Darin Alan Bocian, DPM, FACFAS, is proud to provide top-of-the-line foot and ankle care to people throughout Tucson, Arizona, and the surrounding area.
He’s experienced in treating a full range of foot and ankle conditions using conservative and nonsurgical approaches and is among the only podiatrists in the area to offer state-of-the-art Nd:YAG laser treatment for Morton’s neuroma, plantar warts, nail fungus, and lower extremity scarring. He also offers thorough preventive care, including for athletes, for common overuse injuries such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.
Dr. Bocian attended podiatry school at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He then completed a podiatric surgical residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, also in Chicago. He moved to Tucson for a fellowship at Tucson General Hospital and is happy to have chosen the city for his private practice and home.
Dr. Bocian is an active member of his professional community and considers his education a lifelong process. He’s a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and belongs to the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association. He’s certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Outside of his work with patients, he’s an adjunct professor of surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson.

I was seen in a relatively short time at my appointment. Staff efficient and polite. Doctor spent time diagnosing my problem and recommended shoes and exercises to lessen pain. Told me to schedule follow up in one month if not better.
