With more than 30 years of experience, board-certified podiatrist Darin Alan Bocian, DPM, FACFAS, is proud to provide top-of-the-line foot and ankle care to people throughout Tucson, Arizona, and the surrounding area.
He’s experienced in treating a full range of foot and ankle conditions using conservative and nonsurgical approaches and is among the only podiatrists in the area to offer state-of-the-art Nd:YAG laser treatment for Morton’s neuroma, plantar warts, nail fungus, and lower extremity scarring. He also offers thorough preventive care, including for athletes, for common overuse injuries such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.
Dr. Bocian attended podiatry school at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He then completed a podiatric surgical residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, also in Chicago. He moved to Tucson for a fellowship at Tucson General Hospital and is happy to have chosen the city for his private practice and home.
Dr. Bocian is an active member of his professional community and considers his education a lifelong process. He’s a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and belongs to the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association. He’s certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Outside of his work with patients, he’s an adjunct professor of surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson.

Dr. Bocian was amazing. He diagnosed my injuries perfectly, recommended preferred treatment and we're moving forward. At the same time took care of my years old ingrown nail. He and his staff gave me one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had with a physician even though you're visiting due to pain. He's the best and I highly recommend his practice!

I saw Dr. Bocian for my follow up visit so he could check on my Morton's neuroma. He had given me a shot last month and it has been cured. No more problems, and I stand and walk a lot at work. He even filed down a corn I developed on my left foot pinkie toe. I am very pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Bocian. His staff is very efficient also. You never have to wait very long to see him either. I highly recommend Dr. Bocian.
Dr Bocian is kind and thorough. He has an easy going manner and made me feel comfortable during my treatment. He offers information on self care and preventive care.
