Then the front register clerk and I shared a laugh when I realized I handed him the wrong card. Very excited to come back next week and more than happy to. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Parto completed his internal medicine internship and residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, rising to the top of his class and serving as chief resident.
Dr. Parto did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, training with the top experts in the field.
He pursued further specialized training in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular intervention at VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
Currently, Dr. Parto is the Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center and the Director of Vascular Diseases at California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. He has treated a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, won awards, and produced a number of publications.

Dr. Parto is an excellent cardiologist. He is very patient, takes the time to truly listen, and never brushes off any questions or concerns. I’ve also really appreciated how thoroughly he reviews my chart and previous visits before each appointment.
