Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Parto completed his internal medicine internship and residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, rising to the top of his class and serving as chief resident.
Dr. Parto did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, training with the top experts in the field.
He pursued further specialized training in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular intervention at VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
Currently, Dr. Parto is the Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center and the Director of Vascular Diseases at California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. He has treated a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, won awards, and produced a number of publications.

Dr Parto and his entire staff are very efficient and professional. Their competency and attention to your treatment is evident. They conduct diagnostic testing on site and are able to deliver your results in present time. You leave the office with great direction and understanding of your condition.
Very good experience they quickly handled my case and were able schedule my tests as urgent to facilitate my planned operation.

I had an 1130 appointment and I did not meet with the doctor until 1:00 PM. I understand he was busy but the office told me to be there 10 minutes ahead of time so I was there at 11:10 AM and then did not see the doctor until 1 PM. Not a good situation.

My experience at the doctors office was great. My wait time was short and the technician who worked on me was very professional.

Terrible service the lady in charge was very rude they give me apoitment whenvI get rhere they don't see my mom becouse I didn't comfirm the apoitment I miss my day off work I try to explain that if I didn't comform is because my phone wasn't working they not antherstant they don't care about the patient I ask if she will give me other apoitment she toll me that I have to call the manager for that that she won't give me another apoitment I don't recommend that office especially with that lady in charge (Ireth ) and Odalia
