As an athlete and an avid road cyclist, it was uncommon for me to require cardiac care until November of 2025 when I was diShow moreagnosed with Atrial Flutter with multi focal PVC's. Doctor Parto confirmed the diagnosis, provided me with options for treatment based upon my active lifestyle, while taking the time to ensure that I was fully aware of the risks and advantages of the treatment options shared. His office staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere of the waiting room environment was calm and peaceful.

But the lovely and very sweet EKG doctor made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! She asked if I would to close my eyes or if I was ok with watching my heart on the monitor? I said yes so she explained everything that she was doing and my high anxiety just went away. She really was amazing
Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Parto completed his internal medicine internship and residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, rising to the top of his class and serving as chief resident.
Dr. Parto did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, training with the top experts in the field.
He pursued further specialized training in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular intervention at VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
Currently, Dr. Parto is the Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center and the Director of Vascular Diseases at California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. He has treated a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, won awards, and produced a number of publications.

Amazing
Good atencion respect
I encountered a lot of traffic that day, which led to me arriving well past my appointment time. Everyone from the dr to the frontdesk staff were so understanding, and accommodated me with a later appointment that same day. While receiving care, the doctor was very informative and kindly explained every part of the visit.

I had an echocardiogram done, I've had it done before by the same tech. She is always kind and gentle and keeps me informed as to what she is doing, how long everything will take and was very mindful of my modesty. I was always comfortable with the procedure and I was taken on time, which is always appreciated.

Dr Parto spends time with me and has worked with my other caregivers as I have gone through cancer and other ailments as I’ve aged (and gotten heavier).
