I search for a long time looking for a good dentist for my family. I came across Potrait Dental on Yelp. I contacted them and spoke to Jennifer. She is so nice and help me through my insurance process. The ladies at the front deskShow more were very friendly and nice . The environment was cozy and clean. They have coffee and water while waiting. My son had a lady doctor that clean his teeth. She is very nice and explained to us regarding his wisdom teeth. I’m sorry I forgot her name. She also told us if we want to have his teeth straightened in the future. They were not pushing us to do anything but gave us options. I feel like they care . So I m going to bring my family over here to get out teeth clean. Thank you for making a great first experience for my son.
I can recommend enough Dr Nguyen and his crew! When I’m telling you, I was avoided dentist at all cost, I’m not kidding! Until one day, it was time to do something about it.. I found the practice on google, went for the first appoShow moreintment expecting the worst, but turned out I had a really good experience! Not painful at all!!! And now I did a few appointments already, and actually looking forward to my next!! Can you believe it?! They are not overpriced either. I even took my 10 year old son for the cleaning, and he was so happy with the visit! Telling me that he felt safe with them, and would come back!! He used to hate dentist!!! Meet Dr. Minh D. Nguyen
Family dentist Minh D. Nguyen, DDS, brings over a decade of experience in general, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry to Portrait Dental. As the owner and medical director of Portrait Dental, he proudly serves men, women, and families throughout in and around Katy, Texas.
Dr. Nguyen began his professional education at the University of Houston in Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. He subsequently enrolled in the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Nguyen proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He regularly participates in ongoing education to stay current on the latest technologies and procedures in dentistry. This passion for oral health care ensures that all of his patients receive the best possible treatment.
Dr. Nguyen offers a warm, welcoming, and calming office environment. He uses digitally-driven care to provide the best possible results, helping patients achieve straighter, healthier, and more beautiful smiles.

First time visit, new patient. On time, very thorough check up and evaluation. Surprised to have the dentist do the cleaning. They identified a filling that I needed done. Since they had time, I decided to get it done same visit. The office staff was very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend.
