I was referred to Dr. Cabrera by my dermatologist Dr. Kathleen Herne who is one of three dermatologists in Palm Beach County specially trained to use the MOHs surgical procedure to remove basal cell carcinomas from the skin. WhatShow more I thought was a pencil-sized cancerous lesion on my right cheek turned out to be a quarter sized lesion that she was able to scrape away. The removal of the skin cancer would have left a very significant scar on my face had it not been able to be covered in some way. Dr. Herne highly recommended that I see Dr. Cabrera I Ben if I had to wait over the weekend as she had such confidence in his plastic surgical skills. While I thought Dr. Cabrera might have to take a skin graft from my leg or another part of my body to cover the damaged part of my face, he said as able to pull up some loose skin from my neck and attach it so I only have a minor scar in font and in back of my ear similar to what I might have with a face lift on the right side of my face. The right and left side of my face match up perfectly and one would never know It had ever had any skin cancer on my face or any surgery on it unless they looked VERY carefully. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cabrera from my experience with him. He is a top plastic surgeon who is very personable and understanding of his patients needs and will help them achieve the most natural looking results! Doug K

My husband and I traveled from out of town (3 1/2 hours) to meet with Dr. Cabrera and we couldn’t be more pleased. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived at the office by his staff. Dr. Cabrera sat down with us and thoroughly explained different options and procedures as well as answering all of our questions in great detail. Mrs. Lori Cabrera also sat in with us during our consult. She is such a beautiful and lovely person and was so helpful and reassuring. After seeing how knowledgeable Dr. Cabrera is, what a great bedside manner he has, and how warm his staff is, it was very easy to come to the conclusion that he is the doctor I trusted to work on me. Dr. Cabrera was an excellent doctor that made me feel completely at ease! I went in for earlobe surgery with a stretched piercing hole, and a few months later, am fully heeled with a perfectly re-pierced earlobe. He and his nursing staff were kind, attentive, and reassuring during the multiple visits I had at the office. I would highly recommend his practice and go back to him for any future plastic surgery needs!

I have been coming to Dr since 2000. He has done various procedures, reconstructive surgery after skin cancer, I also had upper and lower eye surgery,the results are still amazing. Dr. Cabrera and his very knowledgable and lovely assistant Lori were amazing. Did you ever have a doctor tell you that you don't need anything!!! It was more important to them to send me away rather than suggest surgery that wasn't necessary. Several years ago I had Mohs surgery on my nose by Dr. Jeffrey Marcus. He told me to make an appointment with Dr. Cabrera - he was the very best plastic surgeon. Today - you can barely see the delicate scar. His talent is second to none, but more importantly, he will never agree to perform surgery that he feels is not in his patients best interest.
