Dr. Tavani earned his Bachelor of Science at the Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1974. He then completed his internship in family medicine at Providence Hospital through Georgetown University, followed by his residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly. I have been a provider in the Northern Virginia community for 23 years. I have worked in many different patient care areas including emergency medicine for 15 years, I also worked in several urgent cares, pediatrics and moved exclusively to the outpatient setting about 10 years ago. I found my love in addiction medicine and we also provide primary care services.

Mrs. Monica Lovins, is a Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who has been in health care for the last 40 years, advancing her career as a registered nurse in the ICU, Educator in the ICU as well as teaching at Catholic University of America while attaining her master’s in science with a GPA of 3.89, from Felician University, Lodi, New Jersey.
