Dr.Sunila Philips is a board-certified family physician and primary care doctor providing comprehensive healthcare needs of Plano and surrounding communities since 2011. She brings to Wellness Medicine McKinney more than a decade of outpatient, inpatient and long-term care experience. Dr.Philips earned her medical degree from Dr.B.R Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, India. She then moved to the United States, where she completed her residency in Family Medicine at New York Medical College - St.Josephs Family Medicine Program. Subsequently she completed her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at New York Medical College - Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center.Dr.Philips is a Fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians.

I completed my residency at Howard University in Washington, DC and Mount Sinai in Chicago, Illinois. After residency, I began practicing family medicine at Health Partners in Minnesota, where I remained for over 12 years. During my time at Health Partners, I fostered meaningful relationships with patients and their families. I enjoyed the interactions and more importantly, learned from them. In Texas, I plan to continue the same practices. Throughout my career, I have received numerous honors and awards including being nominated for the Minnesota Family Physician of the year award in 2008 and 2009. I was also featured as a guest physician on the “Doc Hollywood” TV show series, hosted by HealthPartners from 2013-2014. We educated viewers on diverse medical conditions which they selected.

At aCELLerated Interventional Orthopedics, pain management specialist, Brian Rich, MD, provides comprehensive spine and pain management services to adults at two conveniently located offices in Decatur and Wichita Falls, TX. Dr. Rich brings more than 14 years of experience as an endurance athlete and competitive cyclist to the practice. This interest and passion carry over to his efforts in interventional pain and orthopedics.

Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Rich completed a family practice residency with a focus on sports medicine. During his time as a resident, Dr. Rich treated various levels of athletes, including hockey players and other athletes at two Division I colleges in Louisiana.

Afterward, Dr. Rich completed a sports medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa, where he still serves as a clinical assistant instructor today.

It was during his fellowship that Dr. Rich decided to focus on interventional pain management. He uses his previous sports medicine experience to help people find relief. Dr. Rich’s primary goal is to help each individual achieve the highest level of function possible, just as he did when treating athletes.

He’s an active member of all major interventional pain societies, as well as neuromodulation societies. In addition, Dr. Rich is skilled in fluoroscopic-guided procedures and musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided procedures.

Adults can receive comprehensive care for various musculoskeletal issues, including hip pain, knee pain, back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain. Dr. Rich also offers minimally invasive treatments, including sacroiliac joint fusion, interspinous fusion, radiofrequency ablation, and peripheral nerve stimulation.

Mrs. Schranz is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with special interests in Diabetes management and Family Practice. Mrs. Schranz has almost 20 years of nursing practice. She began her nursing career after graduating from Odessa College in her hometown of Odessa, TX. She then attended Texas Tech Health Sciences Center to obtain her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She worked at the local hospital in Odessa for several years with pediatric, mother/baby, Neonatal ICU patients and discovered her love for the smallest patients. Children's Medical Center of Dallas was Oleta's next career move where she worked in several different departments, including ER, general pediatrics, and being a member of the IV team. After 8 years with Children's, she decided to further her career and become a Family Nurse Practitioner, earning her degree from Texas Woman's University in 2012. She moved to Celina, TX to take care of the many patients in and around Celina.
