(Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery) degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, New York, affiliated with Cornell University, in June 2008. He served as a chief resident in the last year of his residency.
