Shirley began her medical career at just 17-years-old as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. She worked night shifts all while completing her bachelor of science degree in Cellular Biology and Biotechnology at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, GA. From there, Shirley went on to receive her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Anatomy and Physiology at Touro University in New York.
