By far the most pleasant experience I have ever had with any office of any kind. Dr. Banov is very easy to talk to and has nothing but good intentions towards his patients. He really cares. His office staff goes above and beyond tShow moreo help you and I have never had an easier time communicating with a doctors office. When I have a question, all I have to do is text the office text line and they get back to me within a few minutes. You can trust your message will be relayed to your doctor in a timely manner. They are on point and these guys stay on top of their work. You can tell they aren’t consumed with too many patients and always seem to have time for you when you need them. I want to say thanks to Dr. Banov and his staff at PsychAtlanta. You get a much deserved 10/10 from me. So glad I was referred to you guys!
Being very low on the technological expertise scale on a computer, I thank the Lord I had the help of my husband to allow me to participate in this call! I was so nervous because I never had a call like this before! dr. Banov's "aShow morepproach" with me immediately allowed me to begin to calm down and relax! Thaks ever so much!! I have one question that I'm not clear on. I think I am to hear from someone in the office sttaff to check in with me and see if we will presently set up a tentative appt. for 6 months from now if I am doing okay during that time period. If I don't hear from your office within a week, I will call to schedule that appt. with the Dr.

Dr. Banov is triple-board certified in adult, adolescent, and addiction psychiatry as well as a certified clinical research investigator.
Dr. Banov completed his Bachelor of Arts in Religion at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Banov served his internal medicine internship at University Hospital in Boston and his psychiatry residency at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Banov has conducted over 150 clinical research studies in all aspects of psychiatry, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He has written over 25 scientific papers and articles. Dr. Banov shares his experience and knowledge as an assistant clinical professor at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Banov uses this first-hand knowledge of emerging research, treatments, and best practices to provide the most effective care to his patients. His goal is to help patients recover from mental health conditions and develop the skills and strategies they need to lead an active and fulfilling life.
