Before earning her doctoral degree, Dr. Roundtree Cleckley, AAPRN-BC, NP-C worked as a registered nurse for several years, with experience in various areas of nursing such as, emergency nursing, school health, home health, oncology, and special procedures. She continued to further her education and has been certified by both the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Cleckley recently received her Autonomous APRN designation, which allows her to practice to the full extent of her education & training. In the advanced practice role, her experience includes diagnosing and treating patients across the lifespan in the primary, acute and occupational healthcare setting. During her career she has taught at the doctoral level and is currently an Adjunct College Professor.
