Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.

Dr. Aleksandr Podolskiy is a board-certified Family Practice Medical Doctor, who works with patients of all ages in the Libertyville and Lake County area, including those who are Russian or Polish speaking.
