Kara Bresson, PA-C, focuses on providing high-quality care that is tailored to meet the needs of each individual patient. She is passionate about women’s urinary health and specializes in treating and managing overactive bladder, incontinence, and recurrent infections. She also manages a variety of other urological concerns including kidney stones, prostate health, and sexual function.

Kara is originally from South Dakota, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Sioux Falls. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Dakota.  During her time in PA school, she developed a strong interest in urology and was able to train with one of the top urology surgeons in South Dakota.

Pradeep Raj Rai, MD, FASAM, is a board-certified medical doctor and a Fellow of the American Society of Medicine. He is the medical director at Magnolia Medical Group, with locations in Denver and Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and he is board-certified in addiction medicine to offer the highest-quality care to every patient he sees.

She then went on to receive her Master of Health Sciences and Physician Assistant degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina.

Dominique began working in urology soon after graduation and thoroughly enjoys this field of medicine. Prior to joining CSUA: Union, she worked in a urology practice in the Greater Denver Area. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Rocky Mountain Urological Society.

Soquel (pronounced “So-Kell”) Schafer, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant practicing at Colorado Springs Urological Associates, PLLC, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Originally from Northern California, Soquel graduated from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, California, where she received her undergraduate degree. She then attended Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California, where she received her master’s degree in medical science in the physician associate program.

While she finds all areas of urology interesting, she gives special emphasis to female-related urinary complaints, BPH, urinary stone care, and hormonal replacement therapy management. Dr. Brewington grew up in California and completed her medical training on the east coast, but has considered Colorado her home since moving here in 2003. Following residency, she opened her own clinic in Ft. Collins and later joined a small private practice, where she cared for patients until her youngest son was born. She then stayed home to focus on raising her two boys before relocating to Boulder County, and joined Westmed in 2017. Her favorite activities outside of clinic include reading, crafts, hiking, and doing just about anything with family.
