Hi there, my name is Bernadette Crovedi, mostly everyone calls me Berni. I moved to Arizona from Cleveland in 2006. I have 15 years of nursing experience, recently in the ER and ICU providing safe, high-quality care by using sound clinical judgement. Biography of Ngozi Azode, MSN, FNP-C Ngozi Azode, is a board-certified family Nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse practitioners (AANP). She obtained her MSN from Walden University in 2014. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, within those years, she has worked as a nurse practitioner for over 5 years. Ngozi has worked across the board, she worked in pulmonary medical surgical floor at Banner University Medical center for 9-10 years before she moved to her new role. She currently works in an urgent care where she provides care to pediatrics to the elderly with different health problems which varies from acute to chronic. Ngozi is compassionate, humble, kind, emphatic, and a good listener. She believes strongly that patients should be involved in the decision making about their health. She practices holistic care, and therefore she partnered with her husband to start NGC integrated healthcare. We will take care of your body, mind and soul.

Nancy Ashby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She provides compassionate and holistic care to patients at Kingdom Wellness and Family Health, PLLC, located in Phoenix, Arizona. 

In 2012, she earned her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in nursing from Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. A year later, she received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

After working in the healthcare system and recognizing its pitfalls, and wanting to make a change for the better, Nancy returned to school once again to earn her master's degree from Grand Canyon University in 2018. 

Nancy started her career as a home health aid in 2007. From there, she turned to inpatient hospital care, beginning as a nursing assistant on a medical-surgical unit. 

As a registered nurse, she has worked in cardiac care, procedural and surgical, and endoscopy units at several hospitals. As a nurse practitioner, Nancy has had the opportunity to work in family practice, occupational health, orthopedics, and integrative health and explore the exciting world of regenerative medicine. 

She is an Arizona native and loves the outdoors and the heat. She also loves to travel and explore new places. Nancy has a wonderful, supportive husband of 15 years and three very active children ranging from 10 to 14 years. She is very active in her church and ministry.

She earned her master’s degrees in nursing and higher education from Kaplan University. After obtaining her degrees, she went on to pursue her family nurse practitioner degree at Purdue University Global. She completed her wound care certification in 2006 with the National Alliance of Wound Care. 

Annette gained specialized training in wound care while working at wound clinics, long-term care facilities, and hospitals around Arizona, Florida, and Massachusetts. At Getting Well, she empowers her patients with knowledge so that they can make the best decisions for their care. Her philosophy centers on individualized, holistic care, which focuses on treating the patient’s whole-person health. 

She works with cardiovascular specialists, primary care providers, nutritionists, physical therapists, endocrinologists, and more, to help patients recover properly from chronic wounds. Cynthia Reed, DO embarked on her medical journey with a dedication to empowering patients towards holistic healing. Graduating from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, laying the foundation for her unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Reed has steadfastly served as a primary care provider, embodying her belief that physicians are not just practitioners but also educators and guides in their patients' health journeys. Carla is an enthusiastic Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Bashir. Carla is an Arizona native and completed her undergraduate education, locally, at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She developed a strong interest in cardiology during PA school and is enthusiastic about learning all there is in cardiac care. In her free time, Carla enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and skiing.

Erica is a Registered Dietitian with 15 years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Syracuse University, after which she completed a postgraduate Dietetic Internship and received an Advanced Graduate Certificate from State University of New York at Buffalo.  Erica also trained at the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.  She has personal experience with integrative and functional nutrition, and knows what it’s like to be in your shoes.  Erica also attends conferences and mentors nutrition students.  Her mission is to help each one of her clients not only manage their health but to thrive and enjoy life!

Lisa Moskovitz, RD, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian in NYC, the founder of NY Nutrition Group and the author of The Core 3 Healthy Eating Plan, a simple and scientific solution to finding your healthiest, happiest body. Lisa makes frequent appearances across a variety of news platforms including Fox 5, Inside Edition, Business Insider, Healthline, and Well + Good. Lisa received her B.S. in nutrition from Syracuse University where she graduated with honors and then completed a 12-month intensive dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. With 12+ years of experience in private practice, she has a knack for empowering her clients to feel healthier and more confident in their skin.

Stephany is a Mid Level Registered Dietitian Associate in NYC who offers private sessions and corporate seminars along with cooking demos. She has over 10 years of experience in nutrition counseling. At Montclair State University, she obtained a M.S. in Nutrition and Food Sciences, with a focus on Nutrition Education. And at Rutgers University, School of Biological & Environmental Sciences, she received a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and a Certificate in the Didactic Program in Dietetics, an accredited DPD by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Stephany has completed her Dietetic Internship which includes 1200 hours of ACEND-accredited supervised practice in clinical, community and food service nutrition. Stephany also teaches Nutrition Science Courses at Monmouth University in the Department of Chemistry and Physics. She loves having the opportunity to educate both patients and students within the community.

Laura is a Registered Dietitian  in NYC with eight years of experience. She earned her Masters in Nutrition and Food Science with an emphasis on Nutrition Education from Montclair State University and then completed her dietetic internship with a specialty in worksite wellness as Wellness Workdays. She then worked at WIC, where she provided nutrition counseling and education to pregnant patients and young children. During her time at WIC she developed a passion for fertility, pregnancy, and early childhood nutrition. She was able to further develop that passion over the past five years as she has led the outpatient nutrition counseling program at CarePoint-Hoboken University Medical Center. During her time at CarePoint she has gained experience counseling on a variety of disease states and nutrition issues. In addition to the outpatient program, she was also a member of the clinical in-patient team. At CarePoint, she also had the role of community dietitian where she gave nutrition presentations and cooking demonstrations at community events and universities.
