Being in medical field for over a decade, helping people to achieve their optimal state of health is a personal goal of mine. Dr. Kacmar is an independent family physician who is board-certified in both primary care and sports medicine. A former collegiate football athlete and active adult, Dr. Kacmar recognizes the value of preventing and treating sports injuries from the young school age athlete through the aging adult. Hanifa Waarith, NP, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care in Hobart and LaPorte, Indiana. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Hanifa brings a wealth of experience in family medicine, pain management, mental health, community health, and urgent care to the practice. 

With a Master of Science in Nursing from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University of Calumet, Hanifa has a strong educational foundation. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Chicago State University. At WellNow Urgent Care, Hanifa managed the daily care of patients, addressing both adult and pediatric acute illnesses and injuries. Dr. Aleksandr Podolskiy is a board-certified Family Practice Medical Doctor, who works with patients of all ages in the Libertyville and Lake County area, including those who are Russian or Polish speaking. Dr. Podolskiy began his medical training in the Ukraine, his native country. He then went on to complete a Family Practice residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. 

As a Family Practice physician, Dr. Podolskiy helps patients with a wide range of medical needs. His training spans multiple areas, including pediatrics, general internal medicine, orthopedics, gynecology, psychiatry and family counseling. James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.

Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.

Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
