Maghal Gorre-Ndiaye, FNP, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner, providing exceptional care to patients of all ages at Primary Care Associates of Maryland, which has locations in Frederick and Clarksburg, Maryland. 

Maghal earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in family nurse practitioner at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, located in Downer's Grove, Illinois, where she also completed over 600 hours of clinical training. 

As an experienced nurse, Maghal has worked in several different health care settings, including hospitals and family practice settings in the state of Maryland. She previously worked as a night shift charge nurse at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, for several years before taking a position as a family nurse practitioner at Menocal Family Practice in Frederick. 

Maghal is committed to providing accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatments to her patients to ensure that all of their needs are met and improve their quality of life. 

Niambi Hogans FNP-BC, is a New Jersey native who received her BSN from Stratford University and her MSN from Chamberlain University, with a specialization in family practice. Over 15 years in health care, Niambi has worked in emergency rooms, as a forensic examiner, and at the bedside. During the height of the pandemic Niambi took travel assignments to provide emergency staffing for those in need of care during a trying time for the nation. In 2022, she started The Whole Body Wellness Center. Loving the practice of medicine and seeing the current shortage of family practice providers she has left the acute care setting with the goal of providing care to patients both in person and virtually. We are currently accepting new patients.

Bikan Octain M.D. graduated from medical school at the age of 22, making him one of the youngest graduates in his class. He received specialized training in Family Medicine from Wake Forest University, Bowman’s School of Medicine, and started his private practice in Annandale, Virginia in the summer of 1991. Over his 25+ years of private practice experience, Dr. Octain has treated patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors well in their 90s. His practice has grown to serve many families who have been returning to his care for over 3 generations and in some cases even 4 generations. He has a passion for helping the underserved and has been an avid participant in the Northern Virginia health community. His philosophy is that everyone should have access to affordable healthcare.

Samiya Mohiuddin, PA-C, a native of Frederick, attended The George Washington University for her undergraduate studies and Sullivan University for her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.  She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Colleen Abell is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2006. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner for the past sixteen years. Ms. Abell's experience includes working in a family medical clinic, but she spent most of her career providing care for patients recovering from Bariatric and GI surgical/oncology procedures. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Abell worked as a Registered Nurse in cardiology and emergency medicine.

Colleen joined the Gastro Center of Maryland in 2021 after relocating from the NY/NJ area. She is dedicated to being a great provider and advocate for her patients. Outside of work, Ms. Abell enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.
