My first ambition as a teen was to become a 'candy striper' with the intention of helping a hospital and nursing home near my New England hometown while completing my high school community service. After starting there, I quickly realized that this would turn into more then volunteering. Once I had finished over 500 hours, the hospital administrative board awarded me with the opportunity to take their nurses aide class for free! I then became a paid employee and worked several hours a week until nursing school. Once completing my four-year degree, I went onto finish my Master's degree to become a nurse practitioner, and now have almost completed my PhD in Integrative Medicine. My goal is to have an independent practice that is holistic and takes into account medicine, but also uses resources from the land that we have known for centuries to be healing. I am honored to have you as part of the Integrative Health family and look forward to enjoying healthy living with you for years!
