McKenzie Peckham, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in Wasilla, Alaska.
McKenzie is a lifelong Alaskan who was raised with a love for the outdoors and adventure. After graduating high school, she earned her pilot’s license and has enjoyed flying across Alaska to experience its true beauty. While aviation remains a passion, McKenzie discovered her true calling in medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage and went on to complete her Master of Clinical Health Services at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
McKenzie is excited to provide orthopedic care to patients in the Mat-Su Valley, where she and her family also own and operate an equestrian facility. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter, dogs, horses, friends, and family. She is dedicated to serving her community and helping patients live healthy, active lives.
Jessica van Wulven, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in Wasilla, Alaska.
She was born and raised in Utah. She moved to Moose Pass, Alaska, with her family in 1998. She has spent the majority of her time since then in Alaska and has developed an ever-growing love for the state.
She attended the University of Alaska Anchorage and obtained a bachelor's degree in medical technology. She then moved to New Haven, Connecticut, where she attended Quinnipiac University and obtained a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. She has spent most of her PA career working in urgent care and primary care before transitioning to orthopedics.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, stepsons, and dogs. She enjoys being outside and activities such as hunting, fishing, snow machining, and skydiving. She enjoys caring for her garden, dogs, and chickens at home.

Ksenia Sokolova, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in Wasilla, Alaska. She is a first-generation immigrant from Saint Petersburg, Russia. She had extensive medical training there, which allowed her to pursue a healthcare career in the USA. She graduated from Medex UW in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in health care. Ksenia had a wonderful opportunity to work in neurosurgery with Anchorage Neurosurgical Associates in Anchorage for one year and later started with Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in 2018. She has an additional certification as a PA in orthopedics from NCCPA.
Ksenia loves Alaska and the outdoors, enjoying her time hiking, fishing, skiing, and swimming. She is dedicated to Tang Soo Do martial arts, which she started in 2013 and just achieved her black belt in 2022.
