Val earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she graduated cum laude. She worked as a registered nurse at Sanford South University Orthopedic Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, before returning to school for her doctoral degree. Val attended North Dakota State University in Fargo and graduated as a family nurse practitioner with her Doctor of Nursing Practice. After graduation, Val worked as a nurse practitioner at Sanford Children’s Child Abuse Referral and Evaluation (CARE) Clinic. Currently, she serves as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood and Canopy Medical Clinic. At Canopy Medical Clinic, Val takes a compassionate, personalized approach to care. She provides complete sexual health care services, including gender-affirming hormone therapy and mental health care for LBGTQIA+ individuals.
Dr. Erin is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, her primary nursing experience was in labor and delivery. While she loved serving women at one of the best moments of life, she knew she wanted to be able to do more.
Dr. Erin graduated as a Doctor of Nursing Practice from North Dakota State University in May 2020. Dr. Erin focuses on the whole person, educates you on how to achieve wellness at home, and uses minimally invasive to promote optimal wellbeing. In her spare time, Dr. Erin enjoys gardening, going to the lake, and camping with her husband and three children.
