As the medical director of Psych Atlanta, with locations in Marietta and Roswell, Georgia, Michael D. Banov, MD, provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adult patients. Dr. Banov is triple-board certified in adult, adolescent, and addiction psychiatry as well as a certified clinical research investigator. 

Dr. Banov completed his Bachelor of Arts in Religion at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Banov served his internal medicine internship at University Hospital in Boston and his psychiatry residency at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Banov has conducted over 150 clinical research studies in all aspects of psychiatry, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Himanshi Chopra, MD, is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine with a passion for preventive care, chronic disease management, weight management, and outpatient procedures. She is committed to helping patients achieve long-term wellness through compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care.

Dr. Chopra attended Purdue University for undergraduate education and went on to receive her medical degree from International Medical University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital, where she excelled academically and clinically and served as Chief Resident of her program.

During residency, Dr. Chopra was deeply involved in community outreach, a commitment inspired by her father’s teachings. She led numerous quality improvement, research, and patient education initiatives. In recognition of her leadership and dedication, she received the prestigious Graduate Medical Education Excellence Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2021, an honor recognizing her as one of the top 12 resident physicians in the nation. Dr. Chopra credits this achievement to her mentors, educators, and patients, whose support continues to inspire her passion for medicine.

Originally from Vršac, a town in the northern Serbian region of Vojvodina, Dr. Teodorovic comes from a four-generation family of physicians. Dr. Teodorovic earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Serbia, completing her studies in 2019. She continued her medical training in the United States through the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident. During her time at St. Luke’s, she led impactful community outreach initiatives, including free health screenings and patient-education workshops.
